I had an awful experience here tonight. The staff was so incredibly rude, especially the front staff. I understand I am walking into your clinic three minutes before close, I understand you have worked all day and want to go home to your families. However, I should NOT be greated with the front desk lady screaming "are you kidding me? There is someone here right now. Do you really need to be seen?" I aplogized immediately and explained my husband was not home today and I have two babies at home and I got here as soon as I could. She rolled her eyes at me and filled out The paperwork. The practicioner then said something to the effect of if I give you this test you will not be able to spend Thanksgiving with your family. I told him I understand. But then I got thinking would you rather me NOT be tested and give it to my family? I proceeded to go into my car and cry due to the way I was just treated in this office. There was one nurse who was very nice thank God. Bottom line most the staff here is horrible and unsympathetic. I hope no one has to go through what I just went through in a scary enough...
Read moreHorrible. Incredibly rude staff. I called ahead before driving 35 minutes to this facility and was told that they can register patients up until 7:45pm but assured me they would be able to see me and both of my kids if we were there by that time. We arrived at 7:44pm and were confronted by a tech that argued with us about the closing time for at least 1-2 minutes so by the time we spoke with the tech at the front desk it was 7:46pm and they refused to register us to be seen. I asked to speak with a supervisor or whoever was in charge and the response was that they didn’t even have a provider in the facility, that the provider was in the E.D. Not only did this not answer my question but it made it clear that they had no intention of actually seeing patients up through their advertised closing time of 8pm. I was told to go to the E.D. for the COVID test that I need to return to work. Absolutely ridiculous but sadly not surprising from a UR urgent care - they’re all rated terribly...
Read moreThe first time we went in with all 3 kids, they only tested two older two for strep and didn’t test the youngest, which they gave a Lolipop. When the provider came in, the apologized because they didn’t believe they were actually sick and the two other tests came back positive for strep, they thought we were over reacting as the parents. The youngest’s test came back negative due to the sugar given to her by the nurses and resulted in her not getting antibiotics and her fever the next day to get over 104.3. When we came back the next day, her test was positive. Had we not been disrespected and had a resulted delay of care, it would have saved me 8 hours of PTO from my job, and saved us from going back to the urgent care, and becoming exposed to more illness and germs. We have heard of others who have received similar treatment. That and the wait times are atrocious. We will not return to this urgent care and will be telling others of...
