I am the first person to review this company? Hmm, it's no wonder why they have no good reviews here.

I had high hopes to work with this company after reviewing their website and getting a low estimate. Unfortunately, I was greatly let down. I had a date set with J Amato to have my kitchen cabinets refinished. I was also told I would be able to get samples with different color paints if I wanted. I was also told that they would help picking out a color for my cabinets. As it got closer to the date the project was to start I called J Amato and left messages. I sent emails & text messages asking for someone to call me back. I got no response from J Amato or his assistant. I knew at this point that it would be too late to do samples, so I left another message expressing my frustration. J Amato finally called me back saying that he was just " too busy" to get back to me. Really? What a terrible excuse. Was your assistant also too busy? He said that I required " more hand holding" than others. I don't know what that means. I asked if he could help me pick a paint color and he said " absolutely". I asked for samples which is a standard element to this type of project. In the end of that call, I said I was uncomfortable with his lack of communication and J Amato said " he was moving on" and hung up on me. J Amato is a very unprofessional company and I would not recommend them. If they are this careless with their customer service & communication, I am afraid of what their product services would be. John and his team quickly collected many of our cherished wooden furniture pieces, and as we rebuilt our lives, they meticulously restored them to their pre-fire condition. The craftsmanship was truly spectacular—each piece was brought back to life with incredible attention to detail.

Beyond their exceptional work, the entire team was communicative, professional, and incredibly patient, carefully storing our pieces until we were ready to move back into our restored home. I called John to have 4 pieces of my 25 year old Thomasville Cherrywood furniture to be redone. He came and picked up the pieces as well as looked at the paint color for the walls we were choosing to make sure our refinished pieces would match. In 10 days he had all of the pieces redone and delivered. They came out spectacular! Not only that but the price was amazing. Cheaper than going to get new furniture at discount prices. He is a true professional, does beautiful work and is great to deal with. I will be using him again in the future and recommending him to anyone I know who needs work done.
