Veronica Rayne boutique is the best clothing store on Long Island. I don’t usually write these reviews, but for the past 15 or years I have considered as boutique to be the best on Long Island. You just can’t find quality unique magical clothing like she has anywhere else. The owner has a a bougie, chic sense of fashion that is extraordinarily good. She has such a unique, creative and stylish assortment of clothing and accessories, including shoes, belts, scarves, hats, It is like she is my stylist and personal shopper without a fee. She has the ever so rare ability to know what works for each individual. I can’t sing enough praise for her store, and the quality of her her clothes. I would recommend you go there and just have fun! I suspect that you are sure to find some thing that’s that fits you exactly right and you didn’t even know that piece of clothing and jewelry could come have such great energy and enliven whatever you do . I used to live in Northport…such a great town and now I live on the south shore and I still travel there at least three times a year to shop. The boutique offers a timeless style . The owner spoke rudely to my daughter and myself. As another woman stated on her review that she was in the store when this happened is completely false. When I walked into the store looking for my mother at first the owner stated “there was nobody in the store” I stated that’s fine I wanted to look around. Not even 2 mins my daughter got excited and started jumping, her hands were NOT on her mirror and I know that for a fact, Bc my grandmother was holding her hand! The owner then yelled at my daughter and when I turned around to give her a look bc I didn’t even get a breath to ask my daughter to stop jumping instead of yelling bc she literally just turned 2 and yelling at a child that age doesn’t help. She decided to yell at me and tell me “maybe you should be watching your child”. Meanwhile my child was holding an adults hand that was watching her. So while I may not have been able to experience her clothes and service when purchasing, I experienced her rudeness in the 3 mins I was in the store. There are certain ways to handle a situation and she could have handle the situation much better than she did. That was my experience and others may have a different experience and better experience. It was really upsetting to walk into this establishment in Northport village to witness the owner blatantly insult my friend. My friend picked a romper off the rack and wanted to try it on. The owner made a comment that it runs small and then proceeded to follow my friend into the dressing room to tell her to be careful not to rip it and that maybe she should choose another piece of clothing. Instead of “fat shaming” your customers, why not encourage them to purchase something? I mean, isn’t that the point of owning a small business? To make money? If you’re so worried about a piece of clothing ripping, maybe you’re in the wrong business. Words hurt. You don’t know what someone is going through.
