I have been donating at this center & this center only for the better part of 10 years I try my best to donate a double unit of platelets + a unit of plasma as often as possible which is over a 2 hour+ procedure! Giving blood is 15-20 min & your done! and I have NEVER had anything but a absolute pleasant experience never had a problem with the needle stick always perfect & painless every time and if you have ever donated platelets its NOT A SMALL NEEDLE ITS ABOUT 5 TIMES THE SIZE OF A NEEDLE WHEN YOU GIVE BLOOD! the staff is so courteous & seem so grateful for my platelets that if I was allowed to go everyday I would!!! I'm reading these negative posts & cannot even begin to imagine what they are referring to I'm going Tom am for what I believe is gona be my 50th!! Platelet donation and NOT ONCE DID I EVER LEAVE THERE FEELING LIKE I WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD!!! So if your considering donating please ignore the negative posts I assure you it will be a great experience! Happy donating and GOD BLESS everybody who does it is truely one of the greatest things you can do! Who can't spare a hour or two to possibly save a life or 2?? a highly reputable donor center. i am always treated with respect. the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. they are friendly, experienced, diligent, safe, kind, gentle, accommodating, grateful, and more. i donate blood fairly frequently and it is always an easy and pleasant process. last night i donated platelets, so i was there for almost 3 hours from entering to leaving. i was given clear instructions, was given 2 snacks and 2 drinks, a blanket, a hot water bottle to squeeze. was thanked numerous times for my donation. zaib was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. they have eased my fear of donating platelets and i would...

The staff was so amazing. It was my first time donating blood so I was very nervous and they talked to me and made me feel better. Unfortunately I was just too nervous to donate blood. I was on the chair getting ready and the nurse noticed I was shaking so much so she said I shouldn’t do it because she’s a mother first and that I would be sick and passing out all day if I went through with it.
