MOKAFÉ — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

3.5 but enough to round down.

The place is beautiful, tons of seating, and a great selection of desserts, drinks, and I believe sandwiches (i didn't see it on the menu but i did see them cooking some up).

I like that nothing was overly extensive, some great fun options but not overwhelming. Coffee and tea options, something for everyone.

So why 3 stars?

Service was slow... to order and to receive my drink. Too slow for the number of staff that were working there. At least 2 people in the back making drinks, two people working the register, 1 person dedicated to hanging out the drinks that were handed to them, and another 1-2 floaters.

I had the tiramisu latte and it was delicious but half of it was foam... unsweetened foam that tasted like fluffy air and added absolutely nothing to the drink. In fact it took away a third of my drink. For $8 (i know, semi going rate these days but still expensive), give me my entire cup of coffee. The coffee that was in the cup though was delicious. Nice to finally have a quality (half) cup of coffee.

I was so excited to try coffee at this lovely Middle Eastern Cafe because there's one on Old Country Road that I fallen in love with as well but the strangest thing when I pulled in the place is packed and there was a young man by the register and a young lady by the refrigerators unless I'm standing there waiting to make eye contact with either one a gentleman walks in from the back and get served and so do these three young ladies while I'm standing there looking around nobody even acknowledged me so is it for me to understand that anyone non-muslim is not welcome at this establishment and it was very disappointing because this place had a great Vibe and the coffee smelled great and as I stood there for a few minutes still no eye contact or greetings from anyone very disappointed and I walked out with my tail between my legs and no one even questioned it however the place seems to be a huge success I wish them well I'm saddened that I was overlooked I will try one more time this weekend maybe it was an off night and hopefully they will accommodate me and I will...
