Avoid this store at all costs!!!
We brought glasses into the store to be adjusted in July and the Warby Parker employee scratched the lens while making the adjustments. Due to this, Warby ordered a replacement pair at no cost.
We received the replacement no problem, but a month after receiving them the film on the brand new replacement glasses started to come off.
We went back to the store in August and were told we have to pay half price for another replacement because the warranty is based off the first pair damaged by Warby and not the replacement pair just received. We are a month outside the warranty of the original pair that Warby broke.
Apparently the Warby employees cannot listen and use their brains about the situation, and instead just regurgitate they can’t do anything unless we pay for new ones.
I obviously had an attitude (yep Karen in the house) because of the lack of customer service, and asked for a manager. They were unable to escalate the matter to a manager because apparently they are all managers in the store with no one above them - and couldn’t tell me when a higher manager would be in to speak with. Their employee William then threatened to call mall security because he didn’t like my attitude. Mind you, I was asking for was to speak to a different higher up manager because he wasn’t listening and acknowledging the situation.
We left the store and called Warby Parker customer service on the phone who asked us to send pictures and is looking into the specific situation; ultimately resulting in them sending a new pair for free. Read moreBeware! I went to an ophthalmologist to have my eyes checked as I have had cataract surgery and want to be sure all is well. I took my prescription to Warby Parker with three days left before my prescription runs out. I bought a pair of sunglasses and regular glasses. The regular glasses came as ordered. When I opened the sunglasses they were a different frame and lenses color so I went to the store to let them know and give them the wrong pair of glasses I was sent. They were very nice and said I would get an email with a new order. I received the new order email and then an email that said my prescription was out of date. I called the store and was told even though it was their fault I need to get another eye exam!! My insurance would not cover another exam and even if they did I would have to pay another $25 copay. I told them I wanted a refund on the first pair of sunglasses I ordered. They said I hadn’t been charged yet. I had to explain over and over again I paid for both pairs of glasses originally. It was a frustrating conversation. I know there must be a way for the company to override their mistake but apparently they would rather lose a customer.
Update: After posting the review and contacting the person from WP I was referred to another person who overrode their system to get my glasses made and sent to me. I do not feel I should have had to go through all this as the issue was not mine. I did get the correct glasses and am happy with them. I am not sure I will go back to WP next year. We...

I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses for over 20 years and usually have my exams and make my purchases at another retailer, but I recently needed a visit quickly and Warby Parker offered appointments sooner than the place I usually visit, so I tried them out. I had such an exceptional experience with two doctors (Dr. Hans and Dr. Carpio) so far. They are both so thorough, educational, helpful and down to earth. In particular, I had to come back close to closing on Monday, September 22 and didn’t realize that I needed an appointment for my visit to pick up a new brand trial pair of contact lenses. Even though they were close to closing, they sent me back to see Dr. Hans. He was extremely informative and taught me things that I had not known in my 20+ years of wearing contact lenses. The glasses variety in store is nice, the staff is professional and friendly, and I was seen right at my appointment time, without any wait, at my first visit (I saw Dr. Carpio then, who was also excellent). I will definitely be returning and I really am grateful to such a wonderful team...
