Sayville Movie Theater is very well Managed, it’s clean, quiet, organized and all the people working there are polite and courteous. The price for admission before 6 pm is perfect, ONLY 5 dollars. All the items sold at the concession area are Fresh and priced just right. I don’t feel like I have just been ripped off after leaving this theater, vowing to never come back again, after spending 100 plus dollars for 4 people as I do in other Movie Theaters that I have went to. Lacey who is one of the Managers, sought me out in the Movie theater before it started because she see’s how often I come there with other people, and many times by myself and she said, Thank You Sir, I Noticed that you come here to Sayville Movie Theater quite often, I would like to Thank You and give you these Free Movie passes as a token of our appreciation. She gave me Four free passes, WOW! That’s the way to run a business, and because of Lacey’s Management Skills and Sayville’s prices, I will continue to come by myself and invite other people and make this my Theater of choice for all my Movies. Not only is Lacey a Professional Manager, but she is a Wonderful person to speak with. Lacey is the reason for this review and I just want to say Thanks Lacey, Thanks Sayville Movie Theater for such a Great experience and for Thanking me and showing your appreciation for me coming to your...
Read moreWent to see the 7:30 pm Annabelle showing on 6/25 and it was more of a nightmare than the actually movie. They let in approximately 20-25 obnoxious 12 year olds without any parental supervision/or adult with them. I was perplexed at the fact that these children were allowed at a rated R movie, but that was the least of my worries. They were so loud that we could not hear the movie. The staff came in the theater several times to tell them to be quiet, and threaten to kick them out. But they never did. The kids cursed out everyone who told them to be quiet including paying customers, and were beyond disrespectful. They also were screaming racial and homophobic epithets. The rest of the Theater pleaded with the staff to kick these unruly children out, but they just offered refunds. The whole theater missed 75% of the movie due to this incident. The whole facility also reeked of mildew and the seats were covered with dirt and other foreign substances, but I wasn't expecting any more since it's only $5. Unfortunately, I will never be a patron at this establishment after learning that they rather take money from 12 year olds who shouldn't be allowed at rated R movies, than the peace of mind of loyal customers who have been going to Sayville...
Read morePrior to tonight I have never been to the Sayville Theater. I was curious to see what it was like. But after tonight’s encounter I don’t think I’ll be back. The theather had a cute old school feel and comfy seats. The opening credits were cute. But the amount of young kids talking non stop durning the film despite numerous times being asked to be quiet was Ridiculous. I had to ask the girls behind me multiple times to stop talking. Another row of kids were so agitating I’m pretty confident a couple got up mid movie and left. Multiple people had asked them to tone it down and it seemed one teenager employee came in and asked them to be quiet only once and clearly didn’t do much. Another gentlemen sat behind them at one point and shined a flash light on them. I have no clue if he worked or there was just a disgruntled movie watcher as well as trying to scare them. However it worked but sadly only for a short period of time. I understand being young and having fun but go to the mall instead. I can only suggest implementing a stricter no tolerance for such disruptions. I’m not sure if that’s an every time thing but I’m not willing to...
