Texas Taco — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Omg yes. Im so happy this place popped up to rate. I dare you to go here on a weekday and order something smh. I was working nearby for a few weeks and gave this place a try a few times. The food was good, but not great. Just a less known chipotle/moes really. But, rhe worst part is i gave the guy my order and watched him make over a dozen other orders first for delivery while i stood there for over 20 mins untill i said something. Then it turns out my burrito was sitting behind the counter for at least 10 mins smh. So when i went back later that week i felt like there was no way that would happen again! But it did! Almost exactly the same except that the guy wouldnt even start ti make my food untill at least 15 mins had passed and i said something! He makes you pay right away tho of course he is so fast to take your money, but soooooooo slow to care at all about making what you paid for! I went there a third time and had called it in first figuring that would solve the problem,,, i got there and had to wait anither 15 mins.... i sat there quietly and got my food and left and i will NEVER go back there or order anything from this place ever again. Did i mention it was overpriced too! Seriously your basically giving me moes/chipotle and taking wayyy longer and charging me more??? Me and my friend ordered from here since I never had the tacos from here before. I am disappointed and upset of how wimpy the tacos were. First of all, we waited over an hour for our order to be delivered and I'm a huge stickler on service. I don't think making 2 tacos and nachos takes over an hour to make. Secondly, my hard shell taco was soggy as can be which allowed all the meat and other things in the taco to leak out onto my dish. It was pretty disgusting since I'm sure you wouldn't like biting into a soggy shell. Thirdly, the whole price of the meal was expensive and not worth paying that amount of money. I could easily go to another place to get 5 tacos for the amount they want here. Lastly, I specifically wrote in the comment box on the order online to NOT include sour cream in my friend's taco. Guess what? They didn't take off the sour cream and it was a heavy dose of sour cream. I have to say this place is a waste of money and they should seriously work on their time management skills since it seems everyone in the place is lacking that certain and...

The girl cashier is super rude! My husband called in our order and specifically asked for a chicken and cheese quesadilla due to my allergies! When he arrived at the place to pick up the girl was super rude! When I opened my food I took a bit and my daughter said wait there is more than chicken and cheese. Come to find out there were jalapeños on it amongst other ingredients I was unsure of. I called the immediately and spoke with her and told her we specifically ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla due to my allergies and she said “well that what you got” I said do you want me to take photos? I told her I needed to know what was on it and she said well what are you allergic to and wouldn’t tell me what else was on it. I asked when the manager would be available. I also asked what her name was and she said “you don’t need to know” DO NOT give this place any business AWFUL!!
