Sent my partner to the store with an iPhone 15 that was on a second line to do a phone upgrade to a 16. We paid off the old phone and were told that it could be used as a trade in against a new iPhone 16. Two billing cycles later, I got a bill from Verizon that was significantly more than it was prior. I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon and found out that the sales rep at the store added a 20/mo protection plan and an additional 35/mo Hotspot fee that we didn't authorize. I'm also seeing an additional 20/mo fee for the new phone that isn't being credited and the receipt from Russell says we should see a credit on the account "1-2 months later". He refused to help me stating his computer couldnât find my invoice (which I had a copy but he said he canât do anything if it doesnât show up in his computer ). He even bashed Verizon saying they must be giving me the run around. Huh??? After a couple of hours wasted on this store I called Verizon again and they apologized for the poor customer service at the main st store and sent me to the other store in Sayville on Sunrise Hwy. My 82-year-old grandmother recently purchased her phone from him, and she had so many great things to say about his exceptional service. Chris M was incredibly sweet and kind, going out of his way to ensure she received all the help she needed. He even took the time to connect her phone to her carâs Bluetooth, which was a huge help.
