Was completely honest with me from the get go about whether or not he would be able to fix my issues with my phone charging, asked me to take it in so he could take a look. Within 1 minute of being inside the shop he had identified the issue and was already working on fixing it, directly in front of me. Not only did he fix my issue, he gave my phone a look over and identified other issues he could fix for me. I thought I was a techy guy, but I guess not because I had been using the lowest camera setting on my phone since I bought it over a year ago, and he changed my cameras settings to 4k at 60fps instead. I never would’ve thought to go into my phones settings to adjust my camera, I just assumed my phone would be making full use of its camera from the start. After he changed that my phones camera quality isn’t even comparable, it now takes the clearest photos and videos it ever has before. He also cleared out the speaker ports for my phone, and I could immediately notice the difference when I made a call. Not only did he explain everything he was doing, but he did so in a very clear and friendly way. After everything he did for me the man refused a tip, as he didn’t feel the service he had provided me was enough time or effort to take more money from me, despite it being the best service I have received from quite honestly any business in quite a long time. I cannot recommend coming here enough, I am happy to have a place I feel comfortable coming back to if I ever have more tech issues where I know the service will be top notch and the pricing will be fair. If you're looking for that one review that will make up your mind, hopefully it is this one. I am not very knowledgeable in knowing about PC's. My friend had built me a gaming rig, he moved to Texas not long after. I ran into a slight issue forgetting my password and i had just moved to LI. I had nobody to go to for help. I came across Tech Boys from researching a few different places. I had trust issues with other computer stores that I felt did me wrong. So it's tough not to believe a lot of business are out to get you. After looking at a few places online ended up at Tech Boys. So I came into Pedro's shop on guard and expecting the same. Let me tell you, Pedro at Tech Boys blew my mind. Honestly I walked in a customer and walked out a friend. Recently went to Tech Boys in Sayville because screen of my phone had scratch on it. Met the owner, Pedro, who does it all. Extremely nice and very helpful. After resolving phone scratch issue, I asked him about disposing of old computers/removal of hard drives. He said it was not a problem and he would be happy to help. I returned a couple hours later with 5 laptops and 3 towers, expecting to leave them and return once drives had been removed. Rather, on the spot, Pedro removed the hard drives of each one in a short amount of time and provided them to me. He told me how I could go about easily destroying the drives. He also offered to dispose of all the old computer parts. Although it did not take a lot of time, it did take time. When I asked him how much I owed him, he said there was no charge.
