Beloved Entertainment — Local services in Town of Lancaster

During my initial search for wedding DJs last year, I considered a lot of the bigger local companies - but I just had a good feeling about Beloved Entertainment. I am SO GLAD that I followed that instinct, and I HIGHLY recommend Beloved to anyone reading this. Brian was friendly and communicative from the start, and throughout the process was ready & willing to work with me on any weird thing I could throw his way. His website portal is extremely easy to use, but when I wanted add more music to the pool of songs (more than we could possibly have time for) as well as probably unusual number of "do not plays," he told me to email him anything additional I had and he would take care of it. When I wanted to request some obscure tunes that I couldn't find anywhere other than a youtube video, he told me to let him know the timestamps, and he would rip them for me. And when I told him I wanted to have a few of my friends play as a live band during our cocktail hour, he - long story short - went WAY out of his way to make it happen.

During the reception, he did an amazing job of crowd-reading to keep up the party momentum, and I was truly impressed with his live mixing talent and creativity. We also got the photo booth package: The attendant made everyone feel at home, and the album is an excellent keepsake. Overall, we couldn't be happier that we chose Beloved....

After reflecting on our wedding and talking to our guests, we are very dissatisfied with the DJ services provided by Beloved Entertainment. There were several errors throughout the day, a slideshow we had Brian create for the cocktail hour was zoomed in way too much, the pictures didn’t show the entire image. Additionally, he was supposed to give us the microphone after dinner to thank our guests, that didn’t happen. According to several of our guests he was also rude to them. He got our first dance song wrong as well, we changed it about a week before the wedding but I also had a 45 minute conversation with Brian going through all of the updates. There is no excuse for that.

Most importantly and the part I am most upset about is that there were several songs I specifically requested via the online song portal that were not played. The dance floor was empty at times and instead of playing the songs I knew would get people on the dance floor I feel his ego got in the way and he played what he wanted to play.

I would absolutely not recommend Beloved Entertainment to anyone and will actively tell everyone I know to not use them. Parts of my wedding day could have been so much better if he had just done what...

Brian’s DJ service was far above anything I expected for a wedding day DJ. His organization, promptness in responding, and overall DJ skills made his service undoubtedly one I would use again and again. With Brian’s service is included a website used for planning the day, down to little details no wedding planning site will think of. I remember a few days before the wedding I mused to myself how easy planning the ceremony and reception had been, and quickly realized it was because Brian’s website had spelled out everything I needed to know from start to finish. Everything went perfectly on our big day, and Brian played a huge role in that. We also had a photo booth that Brian’s wife ran during the reception, and we were surprised at the end of the night with a scrapbook with many of the photos guests took, all signed and filled out.
