Went here with my girlfriend — she got the shrimp & grits and I got the chicken fried steak that came with choice of sides, which I picked the gumbo soup & cheesy grits. The size of the portions was insane & definitely worth the price. Waitress and staff were all very friendly. Girlfriend loved her meal; Southern style gravy over the chicken fried steak was amazing, as were the grits. I know this place has a huge part of their menu dedicated to BBQ; we are not huge BBQ fans so didn’t try any of that…but I will say that the Gumbo featured a lot of their meats in it that they’d use in their BBQ and it was amazing. I would highly recommend this place — honestly, before they got to town, the most authentic grits you could get in WNY were at Cracker Barrel…this place is a HUGE step up from that, felt like I was down in South Carolina while eating my meal.

Went tonight (Monday) for the all you can eat BBQ and it did NOT disappoint. I opted for just the dinner portion. We were so so impressed all of our meals, they were absolutely delicious. Ribs and brisket were out of this world. Sausage is made in house and was delicious as well. Every single item here is made in house and you can tell. The quality is out of this world. Got a sticky bun to go, I am not a huge desert person, but I could have eaten this whole thing! For size reference, it was in a LARGE to-go container. We were talking to the owner about the all you can eat fish special they have on Friday and he was so kind, he brought us a sample to try! We can’t wait to go back and try their other meals! They are open for dinner on Mondays and Fridays and every day of the week they are open for breakfast and lunch.

Second time I've been here in less than a week. First time I got the BBQ platter(don't think that's the actual name). Absolutely delicious. Came with Ribs, brisket and sausage + 2 sides(I didn't get too adventurous. I went with Mac n cheese + fries. The fries are of the corkscrew variety and were phenomenal ) also Texas toast and pickles. More than enough for me , not to mention affordable. Today we went for Breakfast and I got the El Gordo. This overloaded offering is more than enough for 1 grown man and was bursting with flavor. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend for breakfast or BBQ or both(I got brisket in my burrito) . Will definitely be back.

I was fairly excited to try this place out, I prefer a smaller diner feel opposed to the bigger restaurants. So i decided to take my son here for lunch today. I dont know if i caught them on a bad day or what, but the food was absolutely terrible. Right off the bat all the pops were flat, I had to send 2 back and just go with a lemonade. I ordered the brisket dinner that came with two sides. The brisket was so unbearably dry and tough I literally couldn't pull it apart. Its like it was cooked and reheated 10 times over to the point of now being a piece of rubber. The chili was edible but not great, the texas toast was about as bland as a piece of bread could be and the mac and cheese was actually pretty good...the only decent thing i got. My son got the chicken tenders which were not bad, but the mashed potatoes he ordered was just a crushed baked potato that also seemed like it was reheated a few times. I hate to say it but this was hands down the worst meal inhave ever received at a restaurant. The waitress was very nice and polite, i would like to...

Very small place too small. I hope they plan on remodeling & oranazing. I felt I was in the middle of a remodel. I won't say it wasn't clean because I didn't actually see anything that would substantiate that. Was cold and heated by a small space heater on table behind us. This added to the feeling of being too crowded. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they are remodeling. Average number of choices on menu. All seeming a little unique like brisket, pork chops & chicken fried steak available with the special breakfast plater. Interesting but unsatisfying. My breakfast tacos were pretty much empty. Seemed like there was less than 1 scrambled egg in each, fried onion was delicious but the homefries were pale and barely cooked Appeard to have been boiled then sliced only. The brisket was diced so tiny it was indistinguishable. I may give them a second chance in summer and hope once they are open for a while there will be big improvements. Being small is not a problem in itself but need at least the feeling of space Very...

I can’t believe how bad the BBQ was from this place. I’ve never had brisket or ribs that were as tough as these were. Brisket is supposed to shred and fall apart. Whatever “brisket” they gave me was a solid, rubbery, flavorless hunk of meat. I’m honestly not even sure it was beef. The brisket and ribs were a weird grayish color. They weren’t even brown! The ribs were no better. So tough and almost impossible to bite off of the bone. The sides were bland and cold. I feel like my whole plate was just nuked in a microwave. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Buffalo. I’m from the south and this place should change their name because there was nothing southern about it. These good reviews must be from the owners friends and family because there is no way anyone could enjoy this crap. And it was dead when we went in so there’s no excuse to serve cold, terrible food when I was the only customer in there. The plate I ordered was called the “Outlaws Last Request”. It was his last request because this awful food killed him! You’ve...
