This is not a review for a particular store but more for the Michael's brand in general. I used to be able to come into my local Michael's store as a reward's member and receive a decent discount/value for my money on a purchase with minimal effort. Now it seems I need to shop online to be able to find any available discount or deal. Coupled with the fact there are no actual cashiers... just people that hover over the touch screens...it's starting to feel like Michael's is creeping toward being online only. Sad!!

There were not many associates available, but the ones that I finally found were talking among themselves & not helpful when I asked them a question. They directed me to several different areas of the store, but did not search with me or get another associate to help me. I came across two other associates and they, too, directed me to different areas, but were not helpful. The checkout line (the only one available) had 5-6 customers & I knew it would be a lengthy wait. I put the item back & left the store. I probably won't shop there again. I wasn't impressed...

Went to buy candles and there was a full section of them in front of a sale sticker that apparently weren't supposed to be there. I took the associate back and showed her and all I got was"Well they are in the wrong spot." Gee really. We had four boxes and only bought one because we were told they couldn't sell them to us for the sale price. They need to pay attention. There were a lot of candles in the wrong place.
