My fiancé has lived part time in the loft for a year now. He received a job in Saratoga and was renting a two bedroom for $2,250 monthly in which he only stayed in for three days out of the week. The lofts themselves are beautiful and if you have a maintenance issue it in resolved in a timely manner. My fiancés lease was coming up August 31st so on August 11th he contacted John one of the property managers and asked if it was okay if he stay until September 31st an extra month John advised my fiancé that, that would be fine. In September we logged on to the portal to pay rent and instead of rent being $2,250 it was $3,000 for September. I called the office on 09/12/23 and “Annemarie Agnew” picked up and she advised me that after the lease is up they can basically charge you whatever they’d like plus 20% extra. I advised her that my husband talked to John and John did not advise him of that and he told me it would be a normal month of rent. Annemarie stated she’ll check with John and give me a call back. Next day 2:21PM no call back so I called again and John picks up he stated he was rushed off the phone by my fiancé and could not explain rent would be way extra than normal due to staying an extra month. I asked to speak with a manager so Annemarie gets on the phone and she is laughing at me and insulting me on the phone (I have the conversation) probably the most rude individual I’ve ever spoken with, I advised Annemarie I’d like to speak with someone above her and she stated there is no one above her (which I do not think is true because someone that acts like her can not be running these lofts.) They way Annemarie spoke to me was disgusting. Most unprofessional person I’ve spoken to in my life! She also disclosed some personal information about payments and the lease and I’m not even listed on the lease which makers her even more unprofessional. (During our whole telephone conversation John was yelling and making comments in the background like a child.)
Please DO NOT rent from here the way these people treat you once your lease is up is disgusting and inhuman. They’ll share your personal information with people whom are not even listed on the lease. Such poor management for such a so called “upscale” place. Please do better with your management team because they will ruin your beautiful lofts. I wish we never rented with...
Read moreWe love the lofts for lots of reasons. My husband and I laugh quite often about the fact that we feel we are on vacation since the day we moved there over 2 years ago. We sit on the deck, relax and listen to the birds sing. The Units are bright, spacious and absolutely beautiful! The grounds are maintained maticulously and the horses statues at the Clubhouse make you feel like you are part of the Malta/Saratoga Community.
The Clubhouse has a huge 10' pool table for residents to use as well as an indoor pool, hot tub, gym and aerobics studio! It's a wonderful place to get together and meet your neighbors or just watch the big game on the big screen! They offer free coffee (yes free coffee!) so my husband is there every morning grabbing his on his way out the door to work.
Where else can you wake up and walk to get your breakfast at McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts or a local diner? The market is right around the corner as well as the gas station, nail salon, hair cut stores and the local wine & liquor store. We loved our last neighborhood in Niskayuna but Malta is one of those "just like home" places. Small town but minutes to several larger areas like Clifton Park & Saratoga.
Parking has never been an issue. We have our own two vehicles as well as a work vehicle and have never worried about finding a parking space. They have an enclosed pet area as well as pet scooping bags and garbage areas to dispose of them to make it easier for the residents with pets.
They have a "meet and greet" once a month in the Clubhouse which Michael in the office coordinates and there's always something delicious served (free to all residents) from one of the local restuarants in the area. They send out a reminder on that day in case you forgot and the staff including the awesome maintenance dept are there to greet you with a smile and answer questions. Anne Marie, the Property Manager is always available by phone or email to answer questions when needed and the entire staff including Greg, Marty & Damien in Maintenance treat you like family!

Read moreI’ve waited 6 month to write this review because I wanted to really experience what it would be like to live at the loft before jumping to conclusions. I wanted to go through the different seasons to really get the feel. Six months in and I can tell you I absolutely love living here. I love how the lofts is literally right off the highway. I love driving through the development it’s so unique especially how well lit up it is at night. I love the location, you are literally 8 minutes from the beach. You’re one exit away from saratoga with out dealing with the traffic and tourism of Saratoga. I love that my apartment has about 15 plus windows, The natural sun light is amazing. Every month they have a happy hour with local business that will bring in food which is great! Food, beer, and wine at no cost with give aways. (I almost won $100 gift card) Maintenance is excellent. Last week I put in a maintenance request at 11pm and first thing in the morning they were at my door ready to fix it. The crew here is so friendly and always looking for ways to keep the residence happy which I love. The property is extremely clean and well maintenance. You typically always have someone at the club house to greet you with a hello/ good morning. Everyone seem to love their job which makes it a positive environment. At this current moment we are experiencing our first winter snow storm which is due to start at 7pm and our drive way and walk way were salted at 2pm. One of my favorites is the free 24 Hour starbucks coffee. Do you know how much money I saved on free coffee in the last six months?? Let me repeat, Yes Free coffee!!
