So. I booked this place off of Westgate because it advertised as pet friendly, private patio which I took as a balcony, and as having a full kitchen. I prefer to stay in places with kitchens because it helps cut down the cost on eating out. When I got there, it turns out that the room does not have a full kitchen. You have to ask for an induction burner at the front desk and they are first come first serve. Luckily they had one available and they delivered it to the room while we were unpacking. There is a little shop area next to reception and the free lemon lime water is a treat after swimming.

The room comes with a microwave, dishwasher, glasses, plates and little bowls, utensils, cutting board, spatula, cooking spoons, a full fridge, toaster, and a nice little kitchen area. The bathroom is nice. Sliding glass doors and rail bar for the elderly and disabled. Also comes with a shower gel and shampoo dispenser (Neutrogena) installed. Blow dryer.

The bed is comfortable and spacious. Pull out couch. Flat screen. Clean. Non-smoking, but they do have smoking sections outside. The private patio is an area where you can barbecue and the people there were really nice to let my bf and I bbq there after 10, which is when it "closes" but as long as you're quiet, you're good.

The pool is not huge but it was empty every time I went and the area is heated (not the water) so it was comfortable. No lifeguard on duty. Pool closes at 10. Fresh towels there for use.

It was 15 minutes away from SPAC, which was great because I got to go see DMB.

The reason for the 4 stars is because check out is at noon and housekeeping came in at about 9am. I was hoping to sleep in some after the concert. So I got up, started packing, and gave them back the induction stove, and the lady checked me out at 11. When my boyfriend went to tell them what happened in the morning, he said that the lady told him that we were checked out for 11. My bf said even so, why was housekeeping coming in at 9am, so the lady said she would make a note because that wasn't okay.

Overall, I would stay here again. It was clean, people are friendly, and I'll just invest on a bigger induction pan and bring along a griddle as well to cook. Until next year for the next DMB shows! Thank you everyone at Home2 Suites.

This property is in a great location if you are going to be travelling to different parts of the area as it's about a block from 87 (The Northway) as well as 9 if you prefer the scenic route. We spent time in Lake George as well as Saratoga and this was so convenient! Lots of convenient food options whether it be fast food/chain type as well as local independent restaurants. Spacious room and although we didn't eat in our room (except for a take home dessert!), it was nice to have silverware, plates etc. Definitely a great option for families or if you will be there for an extended period of time.

Also, it's nestled in a mixed use area of hotels, fast casual dining, other local businesses and condos; so, it's off the road a little bit which really eliminates street noise. We found it to be very quiet even with the Northway being so close!!!!

If you don't want to be in a congested traffic area, this is also a good choice for you!

I will definitely consider staying here in the future even if I am planning to spend time in Lake George. It's such a nice property that it's worth the...

Went there for a birthday getaway. They gave me a dirty room, I went to the front desk and asked if I can have a different room. They said it was booked up. Now I checked in at 10 pm, I didn’t check in early so I was really confused as to why there were coffee/tea stains all over the kitchen counter, the microwave had dirty hand prints and there was product residue all over the mirror and sink in the bathroom. It was evident that the room wasn’t cleaned at all. They offered someone to clean the bathroom. How they worded it was that this day was the cleaning lady’s day off but she can clean it for me, as if a favor was being done. I didn’t get this room for free, I paid for it and someone didn’t know how to do their job which isn’t my fault. Driving 3.5 hrs after work to a place like that was frustrating as hell because I ended up cleaning the room myself. And this is why I bring my own sheets and Lysol, places like this is unhygienic. Such a disappointment because I’ve been to Hilton hotels in America and international and this has to be my...

Their queen is "151-180cm wide" and definitely seemed to be on the lower end of that spectrum. The bathroom door also wouldn't stay closed. It seems to be a known problem and they told us to stick a hand towel in the door -- a new idea for next time, but sadly we didn't manage to get it to work. We ended up wedging a flattened Neutrogena soap carton to the back of the bathroom door to keep it closed. We reinforced the design with coffee sticks. Otherwise the place was fine. There's a huge fridge, a microwave, and even a dishwasher. Internet works.

Today (08/21/2025), I arrived at the Home2 hotel after Google gave me the wrong information-unfortunately, there were no rooms available, and I had run out of hours on my HOS (Hours of Service). I had no idea where to go or what to do, but the amazing ladies at the front desk took care of me and went out of their way to help. They found a solution for me when I needed it most, and thanks to them, I slept better than I have in a long time. Thank you so much for your kindness and support! 5🌟
