Wow - what a business. From the first call to the final visit and completion of repair, this company is nothing short of fantastic. I wish all other businesses conducted themselves this way. I had an oven that would not auto ignite and my wife was adamant we should get a new one. This General Electric stove outdated the technician.....it's one of those bomb proof old school, non digital type stoves. It cooks fantastic so I wanted to see if it could be saved. So, I called and booked a diagnostic. From there it was regular email and text notifications regarding the time of my appointment. At first you are given a 4 hour window, that then becomes a 2 hour window and then you get a text to let you know the technician will be with you shortly. Both technicians were presentable, personable and professional in everything they did. Diagnosis was that the igniter valve needed to be replaced, not enough amps (or volts) and although General Electric stopped making that part for this oven, a generic part was available. So, you pay the diagnostic fee and if you decide to opt for the repair, that fee comes off the final bill. Not even a week later (and that was only because I was out of town for 2 days) a second technician installed the new part and hey presto we have a stove again. Cost $317.72 - so a lot less than a new stove. Fabulous from start to finish. If you have a faulty appliance then I highly recommend you give this company a call.

I have a beverage refrigerator that stopped working with no power. 2 techs arrived and diagnosed the problem as a bad board that would cost over $400 to replace if they could get one . I decided not to repair it and ordered a new beverage refrigerator based on their professional opinion. This diagnostic service cost $120. When you call professionals in their field you can only assume that they know their business. After watching the techs troubleshoot the refrigerator I became concerned and had questions. After 2 days I plugged it in and pushed the on switch for the refrigerator for 15 seconds and it started working and has been running for days without a problem. Can you imaging the outcome if I had ordered a new board and paid for installation.

Mr. Appliance did a great job of repairing my refrigerator, despite the pandemic interrupting parts delivery. They stayed on top of ordering the part, checking many vendors over several months. When the part did arrive, they were able to install it immediately. They also were able to help after they left when the control panel went into some weird state. They were great - from Stephanie to Craig to the owner!

Advise never to use this organization. This review will be long an boring but for every 10 words of this outline of our experience cost us about $100. If you wish to save time and money stop here and save your self about $700.

First visit cost us about $150 but that was to diagnose the problem which was it was leaking an need a new sealing gasket.

Gasket was not in stock but that was going to cost us about another 150.00.

Gasket came in and was installed.

Problem still existed and the unit still leaked. Now we had to spend about another 200.00 to get an new spin blade. This was explained as strange but they thought it would fix the problem.

New spin blade came in and was installed. wrote another check.

Technician left and still leaked.

Two technicians then came out reviewed the issue and left with the understanding the problem was resolved,

Technicians left and my spouse went to run the dishwasher, smelled smoke and the dishwasher did not did not drain.

This was then reported back to Mr. Appliance and they said this was a new problem and this would be inspected but only at another diagnosis charge of over hundred dollars.

We thought management should reconsider after all the missed diagnosis' we had, and we were told they would call us. Over a week went by and cacophony of crickets.

Called a again a new service call was arranged.

Technician came out and found debris in the unit ( why this was not found weeks ago is beyond me) and charged us another 148.00, but he was cutting me a break.

I explained that I was going to write this review and he found to take this personally.

Please don't, your entire company is...

Called for service for broken washing machine. Got me scheduled within 2 days. I had Ben and some other guy as a tech. They were super nice but here is where I have an issue. I told them the spin cycle on my washer was not working and they ran the washer and determined there was an issue with the inside part of it. They then told me the part needed to fix it is no longer sold because it's an older model. They then told me that I would need to replace the washer and the issue was unfixable. They charged me a $127 diagnostic fee to tell me my washer was broken (which I already knew, obviously, otherwise why would I call a washing machine repairman?) And that there was nothing they could do about it. They were here for maybe 20 minutes tops. They didn't disassemble the washer or do any actual work on it. And I honestly think it's deplorable that a company would charge someone $127 just to tell them that they can't fix their washing machine. Especially considering my husband and I had to pay $900 to replace it with a new washer, 3 days before Christmas. I understand it's not the technicians fault, as they were very personable and were just following company policy. But I seriously suggest you reevaluate your policy regarding a diagnostic fee when there is no feasible repair to be done and next to no work was required to determine this., so it's not like there is a real cost of labor to even factor In. I would never recommend this company due to the ridiculously high diagnostic fee for literally nothing. I was told you accept cash or cards, but how about offering a little understanding, reasonability and flat out...

Everything from start to finish was A+. From setting up the appointment, to getting a technician to come look at the problem I was having with my Whirlpool Ice Maker and to getting it repaired. Everyone I delt with was very professional and knowledgeable. After the appointment was set up, I had a technician there the very next day to diagnose the problem. The part was ordered as well. After the technician left, I assumed that it would be a few days before I heard back about the part and when they would be here to install the part. To my surprise, I got a call later that afternoon saying that the part was in and had a follow up appointment to replace the part the very next day. I had two different technicians come to the house, Jason & Ben. Both were on time and very professional. Everything from getting to my home, diagnose the problem and install the new part went perfect. I even like getting text messages from Mr. Appliance with the technician photo that would be coming to my home and also confirming my appointment. My main reason on why I went with Mr. Appliance of Clifton Park is because of the great reviews they received. After checking out all the other local appliances repair companies, Mr. Appliances stood out with great reviews. So I took a chance and everything turned out great! I will definitely be letting my family and friends know that if every they are in need of appliance repair service, give Mr. Appliance of Clifton Park a call.

Thank you once again everyone! Great...
