Dollar Tree — Local services in Town of Manlius

This is near my house and so I tend to shop there. Some of the employees are nice, some are eternally annoyed, and that's fine. Lately I have found issues with my receipts such as items being rung up more than once, and I didn't catch it, so that's on me. On my most recent trip an item was in the wrong spot and rung up at $3.50 instead of $1.25, and I had purchased two. I thought the total was large but I didn't want to hold up the line, so I paid and then looked it over. Then I found out they have a no returns policy, only even exchanges. I asked if we could ask a manager, she said she WAS the manager, but later said she was unwilling to call her manager because she already knew the answer. They said come back any time, and I said I would rather just return them now because there's always a catch. They INSISTED it would be fine. Then they said actually holiday items must be exchanged before that holiday. Well now suddenly that means I have one week. I am done with that store. They don't care about their jobs or their customers, and I'm sure they don't get paid enough to care, but I have reached my limit.

Edited to add, I called a different dollar tree and they are willing to refund me. The people at other store were very courteous and helpful, so that is where I will be going...

I visited your store today and was really offended... the woman screamed at me because I asked her why I had to be so close to the other customers when the person at the register has a great gap then the rest of the customers starting at the isle are close together as the tape does not meet the requirements of 6 feet after that.. she screamed at me and said your not wearing a mask and ripped my money out of my hand. I was there at 1:16 pm today. You can kindly look at the cameras and see her do it. I asked for my hard earned money back and ripped it out of her hand and told her I'd spend my money somewhere else.. if she doesn't wanna be there she should stay home. We are going through enough with this pandemic and dont need the extra hassle. I will never spend my money there again... if dollar tree would like to supply masks before entering the store I would gladly wear one for them... the tape is not 6 ft away after the fir follow the requirements....st customer at...

A very large bearded man whom I was told is the manager by another employee is SOOOO incredibly RUDE!!! Anytime I have asked him a simple question he is so impertinent!!! Today I specifically didn't ask him because he IS so unpleasant! I asked another employee if they got in any school planners yet. From 2 registers down while cashing out another customer he YELLS very nastily "THEY'RE SOMEWHERE IN THE BACK IN THE BOXES AND I'M NOT DIGGING THEM OUT!" and then muttered something sarcastic.
