Cherry Orchard Laundromat — Local services in Town of New Paltz

I have been going there for about 10 years now...very happy with the updates inside, but the people that work there are not the most pleasant or smartest...the first woman was just always in the way and very snippy, and this new lady is mostly just sitting down all the time and decides to dust while you are at the actual machine, and has loud and obnoxious conversations with other customers about " the wall" that should be built..and why....some conversations should be left unheard and to a minimal especially when you have different ethnicities doing their laundry there...I felt that was very rude and inconsiderate...do your job...don't just sit around and socialize all day....at least the prior lady cleaned the whole time.....even though she would clean the inside of the machines with a greasy solution...knowing that the machines state to not clean the inside with no chemicals...

An excellent Laundromat! Totally renovated, spotless, sparkling washers and dryers. Free Wi-Fi for customers, video game machine, and Television. Comfortable armchairs. Easy parking. Close to Dunkin Donuts. Rino pizza and True Value. ATM, change machine and Detergent, Bleach dispenser. Courteous, helpful attendant at all times. Sunny, quiet benches outside premises.

I remember coming back one day, after a month absence, only to have a nice attendant named Marje, ask me if I had forgotten to pack a pair of socks last time I was there... All I could say was Yes Mam, thank you very much, since I had not noticed they were missing...

I definitely recommend this business.

My wife was tired of having her clothes come out with grease streaks after washing mine in our washer. So far I have used this establishment 2 times for the drop off laundry service. I have dropped off my dirty greasy/oily/muddy work clothes to be cleaned and they have come back a lot cleaner than if i washed them myself in my own washer. The drop off service is very convenient and affordable. So far I have dropped off and the clothes have been either been cleaned and ready same day or next day depending on what time I left them to be washed. Very pleased so far with the service and the owners very promp response to...
