Twistee Cone — Restaurant in Town of New Paltz

This was our first visit of 2021. That we were very disappointed especially compared to how good the last few years were. The vanilla cone dip the chocolate was very poor. The chocolate dip was so thin you can see the vanilla ice cream through it. I've worked with ice cream when you see a dipped cone looking like this you know there's something wrong and you should have never sent it out to a customer. Plus it had a strange taste and that taste tasted nothing like chocolate. The vanilla ice cream itself was very good. The chocolate milkshake tasted like it was milk and chocolate ice cream and somebody had forgotten the chocolate syrup. I'm hoping as summer comes around they get back to there previous level. Maybe I'll give my another...

First time here, also last time. Yes, the place is cute. Lots of nice flowers in planters and clean picnic tables. The girl at the counter couldn't have been nicer. However-the parking is tight even without a crowd. The worse things though were the price and the lack of taste. The small sundae I got was $6.25. Chocolate ice cream had zero taste and the topping was nowhere near as good as the 3 other places I've had it at lately. I compare this to the identical sundae I got at Boice's in Kingston. Boice's charged $3.50 for just a slightly smaller product which tastes 20 times better. You can guess where I'm going next time. Maybe New Paltz charges...

The owner is very rude I got a Gourmet milkshake the one I had previously was really good this one not so good and they used chocolate ice cream which I hate so I went back a few seconds later after realizing they used chocolate ice cream last time it was vanilla and the owner gave me an attitude and said they always use chocolate and I said no you don’t because last time it was vanilla again he was very rude I asked for a new one very politely and he Stated yes you’ll have to pay after I just paid $8.75 for the gourmet milkshake I said are you serious and he said yes so that’s my review I will never go...
