SPRINT HAS THE WORSE SERVICE EVER!!! Plugged my phone in to be charged on 11/3, woke up and It was frozen. Took the phone to the Sprint store on route 300 in Newburgh. Cant tell you the HORRENDOUS service I got. They couldn't get the phone to work and mailed it out to Asurion. They called me back on Thursday 11/9 to tell me they couldn't figured out what was wrong. And they would be mailing out a new phone at no cost to the Sprint store. I asked did they transfer all my contacts and pictures over? They said no, that is done by the Sprint store, that when they get phones, that they wipe them out clean. So I was pissed, but couldn't be mad at Asurion, that was on My Sprint store. So Monday 11;13 around 4;30pm I called sprint and they said that phone still hadn't come in. I called them back around 4;30pm on Tuesday the 14th. Chris said again that the phone had not come in yet. I called Asurion and they tracked the phone down. It was signed for on Monday the 13th at 2;00 pm by Tyler. I called Chris back and asked him to check again, he came back on the line and said sorry, still not here. I said that I had just spoken to Asurion and that Tyler had signed for the phone 11/13TH AT 2PM. He said to give them a few minutes and he would call back. He called back 15 minutes later and said that they phone was there. Instead of just apologizing, he said Asurion had sent it over in a weird box and they didn't know what it was. You cant make this tuff up, just say, hey we dropped the ball, but no lets keep lying to customers. To make this whole matter even worse. Yesterday the 15th, I couldn't make it down to Sprint, so I asked my son to come up to my job and get the loaner phone they gave me and to go pick up my new phone. He calls me a hour later and says Dad its a 100 dollars, I asked him to put Chris on the phone. I said Chris, Asurion says it was free, he said its a 100, I said to please give my son back the loaner and that I would call Asurion and figure it out. My son calls me awhile later and said dad I got the new phone and im leaving it on the counter. He was trying to help, and when I called him. I asked him did Chris not tell you, that I said not to pay for it? He said no. I called Chris and asked him. Did I not tell you, that I didn't want the phone and to give my son back the loaner and he said yes. I said then why did you charge him the 100 dollars and he said because he said he would pay for it. After 15yrs and over a 200 bill a month, you figure this company would have some respect for there customers. I am going to switch over Company's and ask all my friends and family to switch over and repost this. SPRINT DOESNT CARE ABOUT ITS...
Read moreI'm facing this review on T-Mobile as a whole not this T-Mobile store. Five nights ago I signed up with T-Mobile online. The benefit to this was that the online customer service people can waive the $30 activation fee for each Sim card. With two SIM cards I'd be saving $60. I was on chat with this customer service rep for over 2 hours and signed a ton of documents and was expecting my phones shipped on the 25th.
Well the 25th came and went and I got no phones in the mail. I couldn't log into the website and I finally called them back up and was told that since they didn't receive my signed EIP that no account was created and no phones were shipped. They told me I had to go into the store to go through the whole process all over again and guess what? Not only did I have to pay $30 for each SIM card but the phone no longer had a free memory upgrade so that was another $50 and the trade-in value on my phone had gone down $25.
So all in all because they messed up I have to pay an extra $135. Additional to that I tried to contact them the night before on chat and had three failed attempts, one that didn't connect at all, one that connected and never said anything, and one that connected, asked me what my problem was, and then made me wait over 12 minutes before replying let me look at your account. I might be saving $20 a month on my bill by switching from Verizon but it honestly isn't worth the headache at this point and I'm only one day into my contract.
EDIT: ending up changing back to Verizon 8 months later. Shotty coverage around Bear Mountain, wife's phone randomly needed to be reset to receive calls, and the last straw was when my 1st Responder discount randomly was removed, raising...
Read moreI stopped by the store today on my lunch break to turn in my old phone, I thought this would be a quick transaction, I could not have been more wrong! A store full of staff including the manager all standing around the center table as a gentleman went on for 30 minutes or more about how much money he had, showing the staff photos of his cars and homes and giving out cash tips to some staff for fast service, I guess?? Maybe next time I go there I should bring money for tips and I can get some services. So much more to that story but it was so cringy to witness. I guess it looked like so much staff was there because they are training new people but the optics looked terrible as a customer waiting for service, while pretty much the whole staff was so enthralled by ONE customer. Anyhow, I gave this store one star for the ONE and only employee that was running around trying to help all the customers BY HIMSELF!!! He was literally helping me and 2 other customers alone. I called the store to get his name because I just couldn’t stop thinking about my visit to the store today. So THANK YOU TONY for being an amazing service to the customers and actually helping us! Tony needs a raise and a promotion cause he’s the only one working! The manger on duty should be ashamed about all the customers in the store being IGNORED and having to listen to that cringy conversation, such an embarrassment. If it wasn’t for Tony, I’d probably still be in the store trying to turn in my...
