Last weekend I finally said to myself that “enough is enough” and decided to get my hair cut. When I went online to look for hair salons near me, Jenna’s Salon popped right up and not only had close to a 5 star review, but it was coming from almost 100 people! I was so excited, I called right away and was able to get in with Jenna herself immediately!

I live in Watervliet and must’ve driven by the salon 100’s of times, and when I walked by, the outside advertising proved to be simple- absolutely not tacky, which I appreciated. Upon opening the door, it felt like I was transported to a whole new place, no where near Watervliet, that was stylish and absolutely up to date.

I have never been to an upscale hair salon before and this was an absolute treat! Jenna was wonderful and though I am not the best at describing what I wanted my hair to look like, she understood perfectly. Because I felt confident with my surrounding, I actually decided to color my hair with a toner, which is completely out of my normal league. Before Jenna went back to create the color, I was offered water or seltzer. How professional! When she came back, Jenna and a fellow cosmetologist concocted a mixture for my hair that included at least 5 different shades of pink. After hearing that, I felt that Jenna along with her coworkers really care about the customer and will take any extra steps necessary to make them happy.

Once the toner was ready to be washed out, I went over to the hair washing area where there was a woman whose job was specifically to do that. She was extremely kind and when I asked how she felt about working there, she told me that she felt so happy to be working under Jenna and felt like she was learning so much and was so grateful for having such a wonderful boss. Now honestly, how often to you hear that from people and know that it’s genuine?! It was so nice to hear it!

Finally when it was time to reveal my hair, the towel was taken off and the color was much more vivid than I was expecting. And… I loved it more than words can say! I have been showing it off to every one and I even get get compliments from strangers on the street!

This is the first place that I have made a follow up appointment to, and I am happy to say that I have found...

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the salon today. From the moment I walked in, everyone was super friendly and made sure I felt welcomed specially Jenna. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the color, tailoring their service to perfectly suit my needs.

The salon was immaculate, and the cheerful vibes made the visit even more enjoyable. Everything was incredibly comfortable, especially the reclining chairs used to wash my hair.

A special shoutout to Chloe—she is exceptionally professional and friendly. Chloe has an incredible talent for doing hair colors. She not only achieves amazing results but also selects colors that perfectly fit each client. She is very nice and excels at her job, making sure everything is done beautifully and professionally.

Madyson was also fantastic. She was so patient and helped with my hair, making sure everything was perfect. She did an incredibly professional job and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the result.

I also want to extend my gratitude to Jenna, the owner of the salon. She personally came over several times to check on my experience, ask if I needed anything, and make sure everything was going exactly as I wanted. Her dedication to customer satisfaction is truly impressive.

I am especially grateful for being able to secure a same-day appointment despite their busy schedule. The care and attention I received made me feel like the only client there. It was the best experience ever, and I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for top-notch service. Thank you so much...

I can not say good enough about Kaila at this salon! Kaila really gave an amazing consultation, gave really good feedback, was very open & honest about what was possible with my time frame and also what would look best on me! Kaila was incredibly sweet, friendly, welcoming, and above all , it gave me a safe space to chat, relax, and feel beautiful! She was upfront about pricing, expectations and she was also extremely gentle with how she not only handled my hair, my color and my haircut but was very open the entire time on what she was doing and what She felt comfortable doing, too!!

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Kaila to anyone who asked me, and I am so excited to see her again soon, too!

This salon was gorgeous! From the staff members that were all total sweethearts to the atmosphere of the entire salon! Having complimentary snacks and drinks is such a caring, sweet touch to the customers, especially because hair appointments can take hours!

I think my one only con is as a plus size woman myself, the chairs were not the most comfortable I've ever sat in, I felt a little squished into it and felt I couldn't move around much, but other than that the salon...
