I am writing this review with a very heavy heart because I think that some of the stylist here work very hard, but there is definitely an issue with the pricing and what is told and what is actually charged. A week ago my mom had an issue over here with her nails being done and was not happy and they stated that they were going to issue her a refund after one of the technicians came over and stated to me thatwould she be willing to accept a gift certificate as a refund and my mother said no I said, give me the gift certificate and I will pay her back the money that you owe her this way there is no complications and we can do it in a very amicable way. So I go there today for a pedicure and I was actually going to have another service done but they are advertising 20% off for their summer and I was then told because my mother got 20% off and they issued a refund through a gift certificate that the 20% off the pedicure, spa pedicure procedure that was done for me no longer applied since I have my motherâs gift certificate as payment. I think that this is absolutely ridiculous and an absolute case of a bait and switch where theyâre telling you one price and then charging you another unfortunately I will not be returning.
Update on my review in response to the owners comments on my review.
First, I would like to state that you did not actually read my review where it said that I am very pleased with Amyâs work that she does, but the fact remains that when Amy did my momâs nails, the jewels that were on her nails did come off and the side of her nails were missing the nail polish, and that is a fact.
My review in fact is in regard to your price gouging! The prices that you have online for your store do not match the prices that you offer inside the salon! You mentioned my mother you did not and I repeat did not give her a massage as a matter of fact, she repeated herself several times saying I do not want a massage from you. I just want my nails done. When she asked about the price, she asked for powdered nails, which you told her that UV gel was better and you would charge her the same price for the UV gels nails as the powder. You then proceeded to then overcharge her a total of $160 Without the 20% discount and without honoring the amount that you stated you would originally the only thing she wanted an extra were the gems on her nails, which were two dollars each that fell off by the next day which when she came in, they were reattached and two days later all of them all fell off, so yes, she was very displeased with the service When you first spoke to Donna on the phone, you agreed that you were going to issue her a full refund back onto her card then Amy comes over to me and states that would would she be willing to get a gift certificate my mother said no and I said I would sell her the money you could give the gift certificate to meand then decide to then further take advantage of my generosity in resolving the situation by penalizing me and then charging me extra for the pedicure. When I went in on Monday to use my gift certificate that I was given to help you out in resolving the issue that occurred with my mother. I was first told to get the spa pedicure and take advantage of the 20% discount because my mother wasnât returning. She had a 10 minute massagefor free that she gave to me. The spa pedicure was $80 and I stated that I did not want the gel I wanted a regular pedicure with the spa pedicure, but you decided to then do the gel and ended up charging me $120 for a PEDICURE! And with the 10 minute free massage, I had to pay 10 minutes on the massage because I got a total of 20 minutes. I can add very well and you did not discount anything for me!!!! I chose to pay full price because you stated in order to use the gift certificate I had to pay full prices. I am letting the community know of the price gauging that is going on because all the âsugar coated wordsâ you say will only get you so far until people start realizing what...
Read moremy pedicure started out great. Sat down for the spa pedicure with the 20 minute massage at 11. At 11:30 he still hadnât started my massage so I told him I had to leave at 11:55 letâs just do 15 minute massage. He said he would paint them first then do my massage while they dried. However he only finished painting my nails at 11:54 they still charged me full price even though I never got my 20 minute massage. They said they would give me a 20 minute massage next time but who has an hour and a half to spare on a pedicure? The place also looks like itâs...
Read moreI have been on a recent adventure to find the perfect nail salon in this area because I just moved here. Iâve tried several places and this is by far the best in terms of quality and service. They are very sweet and they do a great job and the prices are great. I would skip the extra massage thatâs offered when youâre getting your nails done because itâs not particularly special but other than that everything is awesome And this will be my spot for...
