Anthony's World of Floors — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I can't imagine any other business that is better than this one for sanding and staining floors. Not only did they call me back right away (which some businesses don't do), but they came for an estimate within 3 days and started work the following week. I was especially grateful because I had a wall -to- wall rug removed from my large living room and all the furniture , including piano and other decor, were stacked in my dining room and family room. It was important to me to have this done quickly. The crews over the 3 days span of service were terrific guys and very professional. They had to match the stain used in the adjacent dining room which had been done over 25 years ago. It was an excellent job. In addition, there were a couple of little spots on the new saddle which I had noticed after all was dry, and they sent me someone to do that little fix in 2 days. I highly recommend Anthony's. Some other floor refinishing businesses could stand to learned from them about what excellent customer service is all about--especially having the courtesy of returning...

We just had the absolute pleasure of working with Anthony's World of Floors. We hired them to remove old carpet and laminate and then sand, stain and refinish the 100-year old original hardwood floors in our new house. From start to finish, the team at Anthony's were responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They came to give us an estimate (with a very reasonable quote, I might add) within days of closing and started work promptly. They are experts at what they do and were even able to mix us a custom stain to match the existing LVT in our entryway and kitchen. The cherry on top of this whole experience is that after expressing some minor concerns after the job was completed, Nichole and her father Bobby came out personally to address our concerns that very same day. They truly went above and beyond, providing exceptional service that blew us away. Oh, and our floors turned out beautifully, too. :) A prime example of why to support small, local, family-owned businesses! I cannot recommend Anthony's World of Floors enough. Thank you guys...

After having issues with our install at our house, I went against my better judgement and had them come to my office to consult on a job, after calling multiple times and asking when they would get job done, they contact me today after my email to tell me that there is an additional 6-8 week lead time. Bad experience Update response: you did indeed provide service to my home on Davis, which I have had to add adhesive to multiple tiles in my dry basement. Secondly, my frustration had nothing to do with product on backorder, it was trying to contact you regarding the issue muktiple times over 3-4 months and being told "we will be contacting you", which never occurred. Had a flooring company from bayside come and they had the same product in stock and got it installed beautifully one...
