Center Cuts — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I may be writing this review either too early or too late. I started going to Center Cuts years ago when they first opened. They had good products at fair prices. The staff THEN was helpful and that was important. I used to go to a place before them on Old Northern Blvd but they closed down (THAT place was amazing). With that said let's move on.

Over the years I started going less and less due to the fact that the staff had become disconnected with customer service and simply doing their job (sometimes at a bare minimum). I cannot say if it's the work environment or lack of customer understanding, but it almost feels hostile going in to simply find a good cut of steak. Example? Sure!

One time I asked for dry-aged bone-in rib eye. They try pushing black angus non-aged. I asked for Prime, they moan. I leave.

Another time I ask for non-center cut think sliced bone in pork chops. Boy that triggered them.

They claim to be a butcher shop but they don't want to butcher more than just the standard cuts for the counter. Oh and over the years, the prices have skyrocketed! I am sure there's a middle ground but they certainly haven't found it.

If they could fix anything at all, I would suggest it be the service. Definitely...

i really love the food, but every time i order to my office, they mess something up. they either mess it up completely, or dont include something. Not to mention it is supposed to come with chips and it almost NEVER comes with chips. i have ordered several times and i am sad to say that this will be my last time. i told them they forgot my dressing for the sandwich, and asked if they could go grab it, he told me that it was too busy and he will see what he can do. he also apologized and said his "kitchen worker is special" that is not my fault. hire someone who can do the job. my order is clearly stated on the label, i dont know why it is wrong every time. or why the driver cant check to make sure everything is included. great food,...

First of all, I didn’t even know they had sandwiches here. I heard from someone how amazing it is so I had to try. I recently cut red meat (not entirely) out of my diet so I got the famous cheese steak for my husband. We went to the park to have lunch while the kids played. I wanted to know the hype with this sandwich so I took a bite. It tasted like how I imagine a cheese steak should taste like. So, while my husband went to get my son down from the slide, I ate half of his sandwich. Definitely will be returning for that sandwich I cannot get...
