I'm putting 3 stars because I know this is a small business. One worker doesn't represent the company as a whole. But this needs to be addressed.
Called in for Gel X. Originally ,I wanted to book with Lucy. Saw this place on IG, the reviews and her work looks good so I thought to give it a try. She was unavailable, and so I took anyone. Unfortunately, I got Julie. When i got there she told me she could not do any design besides french. Which should have been told prior to booking. That for Lucy youd have to book 2 to 3 weeks in advance. It was my first time there so i said it was ok. She was very rude. And the way she works is not safe, its not good. People form allergies to gel x when it's cured on their skin. She had so many Air pockets on the nail bed and her fix was to shove gel inside with her brush, then squeezing my fingers AFTER the had already cured . Besides the fact She kept getting angry with me because I wasn't "relaxing" my hand when she kept painfully kept twisting my fingers , ordering me to not move when it hurted , putting the gel on my skin and telling me to go under the lap like that. She had gel residue on her gloves and kept going when i told her there's gel on my hand and fingers. I asked her to please to remove the gel and she got really annoyed and told me LATERRRR and pushed my hand to put it in lap and so I told its on my SKIN and I showed her the blob and she barked LATERRR I CLEAN. So rude. The other clients and tech stopped speaking to each other and started to watch her and I. So "later" came and nothing. So I asked her to PLEASE clean the gel of my skin before putting on the color on. She snatched my hand and was like WHAT THE HELL HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!!. I told her , I told you this earlier and you said later. Please clean it off. So she got her instrument and began scraping at it,trying to peel it off. Then put acetone and tried to file it away. Again, hurting me. But wait, there's moreeeeeee! . She also put the gel X over my fingernails and under . Encapsulating my skin with my nail. So I again asked her to please take that off. She was just going to put the color on like that. Then she started to work the cuticle to release my skin. She got bits out and eventually resorted to dig her nails into mine to get it unstuck. It was so uncomfortable and I've never had a tech do this before for this service..I don't think this is how the service goes.... So she was annoyed. SHE. Was . Upset. And she started telling me put my hand up , grabbing me aggressive and digging her nails into my nails to release the gel... honestly, I wanted to walk out after the first incident because I already knew this was gonna go wrong. But I decided to stick it out, and in retrospect, I should have just left. There's more, but I'm in the parking lot upset that after everything, I pay the 70$. I'm not tipping this lady. And I leave. She yells over to her manager in another language so idk what she said but I get followed out into the parking lot by a man, and he asks if everything is ok. I tell him , she was really rude pulling my arm , my hands , she put gel under my nails and ovr4 skin it's all in my fingertips and she was getting angry with me because I was asking her to take the gel off under my nails. I show him my fingers and he looks over at it and said OK OK you can go. That was it ane he went back insidr so I and I left. And here we are.
The audacity of after everything still expecting me tip her. And then getting her manager to follow me out. I'm not cheap, I always tip even if it's not a great set or whatever, but this situation. Idk . This was so wrong and honestly I hope you guys review the cameras and ask the staff there if you think Im exaggerating or lying on the details.

Read moreI visited Paint Nails and Spa for a manicure and pedicure but was disappointed with the overall experience. I opted for the Brown Sugar Spa pedicure, expecting a relaxing and thorough service. However, the experience felt rushed from the start. The manager started with me and appeared hurried, which was reflected in the serviceâthere was barely any hot water during the soak, my heel was filed for no more than 30 seconds, and the entire process felt incomplete. Even the paraffin treatment was wrapped up too quickly to be effective.
Due to this rushed service, I ultimately decided to forgo my manicure and am now heading to another salon to have it completed.
That said, Kiki was the one bright spot of my visit. She took the time to ensure I was happy with my nail color, despite my having chosen it myself, which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, she was attentive to the timing of my massage, showing me the clock to confirm I received the full 10 minutes. Her attention to detail and customer care were the only redeeming aspects of my...
Read moreI would give this salon 0 stars if I could. The staff constantly bullies clients to upgrade services or add on more services. I had a mani and pedi done, was rushed and done so poorly. I left the salon with toenails that were clipped BENT, the polish was streaky and see through on some of my nails because some were painted with 2 coats and some had 3 coats of polish. The manicure lasted me all of 3 hours until they all chipped. I should have known it was going to be a bad experience because another girl was complaining about her manicure as well. AND TO TOP IT OFF, they insist that you give a tip. There are signs in the salon saying âtip is mandatory in cashâ. I always thought tips were at the consumers discretion for when youâre happy with a service. Here I am paying for poor service and tipping the staff for providing me with poor service too. They also refuse to take AMEX...
