Ms. Jung is one of the top Pediatric on my list. Over the years my kids had visited quite a few different Pediatric Doctors in the NYC and Long Island Areas, and Doctor Jung has certainly earned my trust and recommendation over the years from her professionalism and her excelsior support team members. I myself come from a background of medical professional family, so I do know what I need to look for when it comes to my children. I have to say there is no one sized fit all when it comes to medical care and practices. However on the very top of the list is you want not only someone whom is on top of his/her chosen line of career, but someone that really has a deep understanding of what they are doing, especially in field of medicine, where it requires both knowledge and experiences. My children had visited Dr. Jung for close to a decade, and she always address my children's need to the fullest. The key word here is "My Children's Need" always comes first, before me, the parents. I had witnessed far too many commentaries, in this age of internet, that whom and whom doesn't necessary addresses "the parent's need first and foremost..." In such cases, perhaps we need to take a step back and reminds ourselves, why are we taking our kids to see a Pediatric in the first place? For the kids? Or for the parents? Medical competency does not comes easily. It require years of servicing the people, with lots of care and many nights of losing sleeps, thinking about how to best help their patients. It is a profession that carriers a heavy heart, and takes deep commitments as a chosen lifelong career. From bottom of my heart, I really appreciates all that have been provided, and continue to put forth for the community by Ms. Jung over the years. Keeping my love ones healthy and addressing all my children's medical needs. Look, Dr. Jung is like the very caring school teacher that watched my kids growing up thru out the years. My family feels very fortunate to have such a competent and caring person during the last decade to ensure the kids are healthy, so they can continue and develops to their full potentials. She really care about the kids and that's all which really matters for a parent like me. Thanks for reading my long post here. And no, I refuse to use A.I. in making a personal review here. These are my thoughts and thinking and genuinely posted...
Read moreMy wife and I are in need looking for a Pediatric care for our first new born son due in 3 weeks. I saw this place advertised online as an experienced Chinese Female Doctor and had an impression of receiving a warm welcome from being the same ethnicity and guide us through in becoming patients as first time parents
When I first called them, I wanted to start off asking some questions about her practice, scheduling, emergency calls, vaccines, etc.however, the receptionist kept insisting me to register them as Child's Pediatric at the Hospital before she can be allowed to give me answers.
I then requested to come in to meet with the Doctor, but refused to come in any times other than lunch hours during weekdays only. Though It's hard for me to travel there during week days from work, I asked if I can come in on a Saturday as I see the business hours indicated they are opened almost for the full day, but I was refused again. I cannot just admit to a doctor without meeting that person first, especially this is for my own child!
I decided to have my wife to pay a visit today (visit day) during early afternoon since I'm willing to give her a chance. She does not drive, and had to be dropped off by a Taxi. She arrived there around 2pm which I consider a reasonable mid day hour. As soon as my wife entered the door, she was immediately turned away by the receptionist and yelled at her about me for not listening to come in during "Lunch hour only". My pregnant wife is the most patient person in the world and had no issues to wait on the side as long as they take, however, she was asked to leave by this unmannerly receptionist.
I don't normally leave reviews to a business unless there's something truly bothering me. If this is a doctor who is willing to hire such an impatient employee to treat new patients and asked my wife to leave when she is already physically there. As such an irresponsible person, she will definitely avoid to see your kids that are sick even during her regular hours when she gets busy.
I hope you carefully read this before you just admit this type of Doctor for...
Read moreREPLY BACK YOUR REPLY #3 (keep changing the story - documented) That was why I signed the authorization form for my mom through email as your staff advised. We still got that email for proof in case of you lie again.
REPLY BACK YOUR REPLY #2 (after you keep changing your response - I keep all the copies for proof later since you are such a liar): We called to schedule an urgent care same day appointment and was told to come at 1 PM. We didn't walkin. The discrimination against my mom was done. No matter what you try to lie, its too late!!!
REPLY BACK YOUR REPLY: I have everything documented. I think as a professional, you should not lie at first but as always you lie, but this time you are caught. My daughter arrived at your office at 12:48 PM (her appt at 1PM). You refused to see her and my mom left your office at 1:27 PM. And now you said your staffs were trying to help my daughter for over 2 hrs? That is an exposed lie. Also, Federal and State laws prohibit national origin discrimination against limited english proficient (LEP) individuals when they are provided health care services. You are totally wrong when you refused to see my daughter when my mom doesn't speak English and I offered translator over the phone but you refused also, and you ridiculous ask the translator to be in person in order to translate? I have everything recorded. See you in the court.
A law suit is on the way! For discrimination. Ridiculous and rude doctor office ever I have witnessed in my life. The doctor never been nice and neither her employees. They always yelling. We still been with them till today since it’s just near by but not worth it at all.
Both of us are working today and my daughter is really sick. My mom (doesn’t speak English) took my daughter to their office since Dr Jung is my daughter’s primary doctor. As they wished, I signed the authorization form for my mom through email. Then they refused to see my daughter because my mom doesn’t speak English even my daughter does. I also offered translator through the phone but they asked the translator must be...
