Nice hometown corner market. Family-owned, GREAT, PERSONAL customer service. Good inventory, best fresh meats at lowest prices anywhere. Very nice deli, Friday is fried fish day. They fry it, you pick the piece you want and pay by the pound, and they put it on a very nice hard roll. It has been a Friday tradition in Owego for generations. Always something interesting on the chalkboard, it changes daily. I photograph it everytime I go in and post it on my Facebook page. Really, nice old-fashioned grocery store.

Everytime i am in owego i gotta stop by johns fine foods even if I'm not specifically looking for something. I love the selection of individual drinks for purchase this is somthing i always look forward to. The meat prices are very cheap for quality cuts compared to these big grocery store chains.

Been coming to johns since moving to Owego 6 years ago. Have been here for the change of owners, loved the previous owner and now the new owners have not dissapointed. If theres anything special you are looking for, he does his best to order it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and carries the old mom and pop feeling to it.
