I am SO bummed to leave this review. But god forbid you have an allergy, vegan or any special diet… I was informed their menu does NOT reflect the truth of what’s prepared at all. I haven’t eaten meat since a teenager (MANY moons ago)… on menu it says clear tomato based vegetable broth. When I came last week I asked waitress who confirmed yes this is a vegan soup. Ate the soup. Came back a few days later for the soup and salad. I ordered over the phone and again confirmed this is a VEGETABLE BASED soup. Tonight as I’m eating the SAME soup again… I questioned to the waiter bc this broth just tastes TOO GOOD. He comes back to tell me… it’s CHICKEN BROTH. What followed is what I’m most angry about. The manager claims a patron needs to TELL the waiter and check what’s in the food bc the menu doesn’t have to actually be accurate. And this was essentially my fault bc I didn’t check (btw I DID the first time). After he insisted there was nothing really wrong with this situation and brushed it off… he then changed his attitude and direction coming back over to apologize and offer a beer or wine. But actually charged us FULL PRICE for this meal. I just wished the response to this disaster was handled better and left feeling like they actually understand how serious this is. The servers in this place are fantastic. The food I ate, less the soup, is good. But you can’t trust the owner to put a menu out that keeps his customers safe in regard to diets and allergies… what a shame. Im sad.. and upset I offered this to other vegan friends. I really TRULY hope they change their menu ASAP or change the recipe immediately.

We have been patrons for years. More consistent and predictable than most of the places we go. They seem to have survived the "pandemic" issues better than most. We are strictly dine in patrons so the counter and take out hustle doesn't affect us. Inflation has given the menu prices a bump, but so has everything we touch. That said, we love all the food, the service is good and we always enjoy the visit. Off hours is best for faster seating because they DO have a bustling business.

As of yesterday, finally tried every cut slice on the menu and ordered all of them because my employees are so picky, uh I can't have this and I can't have that I need this so every other day we ordered one of each. Everything is perfect just perfect, I don't really care for hot honey and vegetable grandma, other than that always perfection to the best, only one bad day probably out of 72ish visits from my knowledge.

I still think La Piazza has the best buffalo chicken and regular plain slices, sharp crisp never dried perfect portion of cheese in Long Island. I like the fact that they don't pre cut them before unless it is wired down to 1 or 2 slices. La Piazza Plainview is debatable to be the best pizzeria/Italian restaurants in the area, carlos pizzeria in Port Washington regular slice is just as good. I also want to mention that when they do slice them from the spot, it is always always spot on.

Officially putting this restaurant as the best TIRAMISU, I have ever tasted in my life. Definitely ordering this for my employees and 2 regular pies on our next meeting...Unbelievable

Absoutely love these pizza counter top workers; they work hard n fast hyper too sometimes i see it and it makes me fill worth coming here; i like it cuz i never have to repeat my words twice i hate repeating samething lol whether it is not too hot, dont heat up, can you grab that piece from the bottom and they all do it without hesitation or annoyed. Not stingy on take out pizza boxes either i actually drive pass 3 pizzerias to go to la piazza instead of raimos, mama linos and pasterias.

*Won't be back here again unless I break up with my girlfriend lol...Just awful experience last 10 months, 7-8 occasions ordering personal pick up orders from Uber and Grubhub, but I let it go whatever but had my girlfriend pick up the food due to neck surgery and she cried and bitched to me all day that day about her experience and still bitching today. sigh...either keep coming to my 3rd favorite restaurant or break...

really nice staff , just a little disappointed bc i ordered an expensive salad with a lot of modifications & pizza, showed up 15 min after i called and somehow wound up standing at the counter waiting for about 40 minutes maybe longer I understand that place is getting busy so ultimately I did not mind waiting but with my entire order wrong, it’s upsettin. I got to my car and I realized my pizza wasn’t there. I just got home and my entire salad is incorrect. They forgot my chicken (literally, the whole point of me ordering a salad because of protein) & they gave me the wrong dressing. I don’t know if they gave me someone else’s salad because the receipt is what I ordered but what i received wasn’t. I also paid extra for grilled chicken and they forgot it so basically the price that I paid for a customized salad with a bunch of add-ons like fresh mozzarella some toppings modifications, totally useless, because I was given a bed of dry greens and olives , when I ordered a Caesar salad. There was no Caesar dressing inside just a little side of some brown dressing. I get that they’re busy but double checking the receipt at least once before giving away an order would be helpful especially after standing there for almost 45 minutes I’m pretty sure that my order was forgotten about because people that had placed takeout orders in person at the counter with a lot more items than me got their stuff in under 20 min Pls pls pls from now on check before giving out an order, especially with a salad that is very pricey with add ons...
