This is the worst Panera i've ever been to. I live very close and come here to study. I don't think I will be coming back. It takes forever to make my order. Today I ordered 2 lattes and it took over 10 minutes. During the ordering process the manager and another employee who was ringing me up felt it was important to tell another employee that he was late for work and argue with him about the time of his arrival to work. I think that was a convo that could have waited. When I ordered the second time I ordered a latte and 2 bagels and they got my order wrong and still took over 10 minutes to toast bagels. Furthermore, I complained to the manager after trying to study for 2 hours that the staff in the kitchen was really loud and all I can hear is them yelling at each other. She just looked at me awkwardly and told them all in spanish what I said. After that one of the employees started to whisper but not in an attempt to be quiet but trying to make fun of me bc I complained about how loud they were. I dont think this was the correct way to respond to a repeat customer. I really thought Panera was a great environment for me to do my work but I think I should stick with Starbucks. While I was trying to study, all I heard was other customers with their food complaining about the service and about their wrong orders. They all got up and left unhappily. I don't want to even explain my experience the last time I came here. Gave it another chance, trying to be reasonable.... Not the Panera...
Read moreOkay first off, this is my second and my last visit to this particular panera bread. 1. I am partially deaf and I looked at the girl and told her if I couldn't see her speaking I can't answer. (Kinda self explanatory there). 2. She acted like i was an incoviencance and seemed very impatient with me. Even though my order was simple. (Lobster mac&cheese and a free pastry) When I went to pick up my order when my little table buzzer went off, I stood at the window where the staff were chatting and being totally rude to the point of not even being aware that I or the lady next to me were even around. After about two minutes of trying to get their attention. I ask the girl about the mac & cheese to make sure it was my order. ( Considering I ordered the lobster mac&cheese and...um, well, there looked like maybe one little tid bit of lobster in the bowl.when I had paid for extra!) So, overall, piss poor customer service and accommodations of someone with hearing problems. Normally I don't even bother with ratings. But this was the second time at this store and second time I was made to feel not welcome as a customer. Perhaps a little review in management and staff on how to treat customers...
Read moreI went this morning to get some coffee& bagel, waited for a bit nobody there, this fat manager passed by few times with no expression then this girl comes from back to takecare of my order,she was sweet, polite and courtiest... I go back later in the afternoon to do a refill on water, as am leaving this rude,nasty,ugly fat manager raises his voice to grab the attention and had the adasstey to call me a thief... He was rude, disrespectful and oh boy a big attitude .being pioneer of the cafe hospitality industry how come PANERA BREAD deals with an employee like this.... If a manager has that tone and behavior towards the customer you can well imagine how he leads his team and what motivated he gives... I was decent enough to leave but as I think more of this episode I feel I should have called the cops and press charges against panera bread to the insult & humiliation i went through... You have a refill card member deal but unfortunately we have to go through this ordeal... Sad, disrespectful & disgusting behavior from an establishment head....definitely calls for the higher management to look into this and take...
