ALDI — Local services in Town of Penfield

I like ALDI in general but I love this Penfield store. Overall , ALDI is an excellent German company and part of the same ALDI organization that owns Trader Joe's. The goods are high-quality and extremely well priced. Store layout is consistent from store to store which makes shopping convenient no matter what local or national location you visit. The manager at the Pennfield location takes really good care of his customers, employees and store. One of the things I like about this location in particular is its ease of access on the main thoroughfares. I can pull off on my daily commute and, in European-style, pick up healthy food for that day's meals. I can't even buy a big stainless steel gas grill and some very excellent bacon wrapped filet mignon... if I'm feeling a bit more "American"...

ive been shopping here for 10 yrs. the usual, good pricing, easy to shop. most often after people pay they bring their carts to the area by the windows to load their bags. occasionally with a new cashier they wont allow that. today i encountered a cashier who through everything to the front of the cart. cans over meats and over bagged items. she would not allow me to go to the side to bag. i said i would bring cart right back like most people do.she was condescending , rude and made an issue of nothing, forcing me to bag with one hand and not being able to pack my food correctly..all the employees i see often are great. im thinking new people should be taught to simply go with the flow and treat customers with more regard. i dont usually complain but she went out of her way to insight the...

Figured I write a review because multiple times this has happened now. I didn't think it would of on a MONDAY at 2pm, but nonetheless, they need a SELF CHECKOUT for people that are coming in for 1-4 items etc. I like their brand of energy drink and needed to grab like one more thing, but there was one cashier with a line of not joking, 7 people with full carts (just my luck). Even when a 2nd cashier is called over after 5+ minutes, it is still a wait if you just needed to pick up a few items. I've set down my items multiple times because of this. Line's didn't look bad, I grab my items now suddenly everybody and their grandparents are in line with full carts looking like they are shopping for a...
