. I was shopping in the Homegoods, and I asked one of the employees; Rachel, a question but I was not impressed with her being rude with her response, and didn’t care to help me and walked away quickly. She has no customer service skills. Then I went to another department of the store and I encountered another employee by the name of Mary, I asked her a question regarding an item on the shelf and she looked at me with a bothered look on her face and said I don’t know I’ll have to look and see. She tried to help me but didn’t have a good answer and then she went back to doing her job. I often go into Plattsburgh at least twice a month,however upon going to this store and encountering these two employees. It has changed my mind about where I will shop. From now on, I think I’ll go to T.J. Maxx I just don’t feel that their customer service skills are above and beyond. Both of these associates seem like they have a bad attitude or they don’t like to deal with...

I LOVE HomeGoods stores. However, since I live in the boonies, I have to travel to get to one. This past week, I was in Plattsburgh, NY and went to HomeGoods by myself! I was able to wander the aisle at my leisure and it was such a great time! Everything is lovely! I could have redecorated my whole house and not felt guilty about the prices! When I (finally) went through the checkout, I told them how much I had enjoyed my visit. THEY all understood, as well. When the people who work in a place love it as much as the customers, you know you're in the RIGHT place! If you love pretty things at discounted prices this should be your next shopping...

Home Goods is an interesting store with lots of variety and appears to have hit or miss assortments which may be a part of the draw. One never knows what you'll find on a given day. The end caps and displays were very well done and well signed. The store was neat and clean. Most product assortments were well organized as well. There was plenty of staff working around the store. I'm not a regular Home Goods shopper but I'm in their stores on occasion when my wife shops there (which is often). So my view of the store is based on snap shots over time with big gaps. This location is one of the better Home Goods...
