If I could give this place one star, I would. Never go to this location . They don’t care about you—only your money. I was a member for three years. In June of last year, I started a new project and couldn’t attend anymore. I didn’t freeze or cancel my membership—I just kept paying monthly. From June to January, I didn’t receive a single call. Not one message asking, “Are you okay? We’re still charging your card—is everything alright?” Nothing. In January, I came back and took three classes. Then life got busy again. In April, I lost my credit card—and that’s when I expected to hear from them. But no. Instead of a courtesy call or any follow-up, they just sent me straight to collections. As a business owner, I know this is not how you treat people. P.S. I want to clarify a few important things: I tried multiple times to cancel my membership. I went to the office three times, made several phone calls, and no one could help me. It wasn’t until a month later that I finally got a call asking me to fill out a cancellation form. That delay speaks volumes. But honestly, my biggest issue isn’t about the money—it’s how you treat people. From the beginning, there was no effort to build a relationship, no sense of care or community. You run a people-focused business, yet you show no interest in the people themselves. And worst of all—after I left a one-star review about my experience, someone from your team searched for my business on Facebook and left me a one-star review in retaliation, even though you’ve never stepped foot in my restaurant. That says more about your character than any words can. People deserve to know the full story.

My experience with Club Pilates has been nothing short of a nightmare. They fraudulently charged me without consent, then conveniently became unreachable when I tried to resolve the issue. Repeated calls went unanswered, and apparently, only one manager is allowed to discuss billing matters — and only 2–3 days a week during limited business hours (when most people work and Lisa the manager doesn’t return calls- how professional). It’s an absurd system clearly designed to dodge accountability.

What’s worse is the blatant hypocrisy in how they enforce their policies. When it benefits them, they have no problem bending the rules. But when you bring up valid concerns — like a staff member carelessly spreading misinformation about policies— suddenly, “policies are strict and cannot be altered.” The double standard is appalling.

The owner Greg is nothing but a money-hungry opportunist and a poor businessman with zero regard for customer experience or ethical practices. It’s clear that profit is the only priority here, even if it means misleading clients and being blatantly rude and unprofessional to a customer of 6 years.

Be careful coming here Greg and Lisa are money hungry horrible business people who will do whatever it takes to make a dollar. After I filled out the cancellation forms I have an email between myself, Greg, and Lisa where Greg told Lisa and I quote “ Do not cancel her. She will pay us the next couple months of membership” when all I a paying customer of 6 years wanted was to discuss misinformation spread by THEIR employee, a call I never got to have. A great business model right- choose not to honor a members cancel form, not discuss what your employee said, then continue to charge someone. This one interaction sums up Greg and Lisa’s professionalism, morals, and way they run a business.

This business is poorly run, dishonest, and should be avoided. I regret ever giving them a dime.

Save yourself the stress, frustration, and lost money. This place is a scam masquerading as a fitness studio. Go to the New City...

I feel compelled to warn people about instructor Chella specifically. I’ve unfortunately attended at least three of her classes - the first time checking it out, second time hoping it would improve, and the third by mistake when I didn’t realize it was her class. Chella’s teaching style is genuinely harmful: • Pushes Level 1 classes to dangerous intensity - What’s advertised as beginner becomes punishing and inappropriate • Denies basic rest breaks - Literally says “don’t stop, don’t rest, there’s no resting” while laughing about it • Makes inappropriate body image comments - Told our class she’d “make us into Kardashians” • Derives visible satisfaction from watching people struggle - Smiles and laughs while pushing people past safe limits, makes condescending comments like “oh good, NOW you feel it” • Promotes toxic “suffering” mentality instead of healthy, sustainable fitness

Most concerning: Many students, especially younger women, don’t recognize how harmful this is and just trust her authority thinking this is normal instruction. It’s not. I watched entire classes of women in visible distress - something I’ve never seen with proper instructors.

Every other instructor emphasizes listening to your body and taking breaks when needed. Chella does the opposite and appears to enjoy the control and power over people’s discomfort.

Avoid Chella’s classes at all costs. There are excellent instructors at this location who will challenge you appropriately without the toxic approach. I’m honestly shocked management allows this behavior...
