I literally live across the street and would rather visit the Panera Bread in Ramsey. This store is clean, spacious and has outdoor seating but out of the three times I visited this location, there was always an issue. The first two times my sandwich was missing something. The third time I placed an order online for just one charged lemonade. I go to the online order pickup and nobody is there. Then the one associate comes walking out in slow motion asking me what I ordered I told him my name and order and he couldn’t find it. He asked the same question again and I told him the same answer. Another associate comes out and asks me the same two questions, I told him my name and my order. At this point the manager comes and asks me the same two questions and proceeds to tell me that the order was cancelled without asking for an order number or last name. I had left my phone in the car because I was in a rush on my way to work and didn’t think one lemonade that I ordered 10 minutes ago would take 5 minutes to locate. Once I get in my car, I see the email from Panera Bread saying that my order was ready for pickup at this location. Once I got to work, I called and spoke with the manager who was very friendly, apologized and returned the money back to my card but what a complete inconvenience especially since it wasn’t even busy, I was the only one inside and the driver thru was...
Read moreIt was my first time dining-in at the new Panera in Suffern. I was doing some work on my laptop when I noticed there was a gentleman I recognized from other establishments. He is an older gentleman who has some delays and often does not know how loudly he is speaking. He enjoys to wish everyone a good day and has never caused issues whenever I have encountered him. I am unaware of what may have occurred between him and the Panera management before today, but I can say with confidence I am disappointed with how he was treated this afternoon. He was wishing everyone a happy upcoming holiday and a manager rudely told him to sit down. The gentleman went back to apologize and the manager continued to reprimand him and walked him back to his chair. The gentleman repeated "I'm sorry I was talking to your customers. I understand." The managers response was "You say you get it but you don't. I'm not going to let you back here." Again, I am unaware of what may have transpired before today but a little more patience and understanding is expected. Highly disappointed in the lack of customer care the management here has. As for the staff, they...
Read moreI have been coming to Panera with my family for over 15 years! I have been taking my kids since they were babies! Most of the Panera Franchises are very welcoming and kind to kids, being very accommodating to their special needs, like asking for the broth of a soup due to a swallowing issues! But for some weird reason “Kay” at the Panera in Suffern was not nice to my 12 year old! She didn’t even bother to ask about the reason for his request! She was just plainly making up stories about this request being against franchise policies, wish is not ( have been getting this for years) He wasn’t asking for nothing they haven’t done at every other Panera! What a shame, this is not a representation of Panera franchise and their outstanding customer service! Hopefully their manager addresses this issue and they can correct poor service before is too late! Hopefully is all on camera!! We won’t be coming back when Kay is working, we will wait to be there when Ralph is attending the counter who is amazing at everything he does! If it wasn’t for him, we won’t be coming back to...
