Revel Salon — Local services in Town of Ramapo

i needed a wash and blow out for a wedding! at the last minute i found out my person was not available so i scrambled for someone near my house. i called "dominican styles" and had an appointment but they forgot to call me with a definite answer so of course i called them 1/2 later and the woman apologized and said come right over. since their advertisement states the location is near "paw diva", that's where i parked. i went into "revel salon" knowing it can't be the right place and sure enough it wasn't. they were very kind and gave me directions to the other place. i get there and they were so rude and didn't even acknowledge my presence as i sat there for 1/2 hr. i got up, said "thank you" and walked back to "revel" even though the woman was busy they allowed me to wait. they were very accommodating and friendly and even offered coffee. when the owner was free i had my wash and blow out. the owner had a very important place he was going to, but was kind enough to do my hair. he gave me a beautiful blow out. i always use my daughter, but she was unavailable, so i know how stressful it is for stylists when their schedules go awry. if anyone is looking for a very clean, professional and accommodating salon, go to "Revel" on main street, in suffern, next to "paw diva". Above and beyond service! I'm not local, I was in suffern for my son's wedding. I searched online for hair and makeup and Revel had awesome reviews, especially updos by Jackie. On the day of the wedding jackie made my hair look amazing, so now it's time for makeup, the artist didnt show, I can't thank the staff here enough, everyone working helped do my makeup that day!! The primer, foundation, smoky eyes, even gave me a lipstick! The staff here are wonderful and I can't thank them enough for making me feel beautiful on my son's special day.
