I really enjoy making the scenic drive up the Taconic to this Farmer’s Market. First came a handful of times in 2019, and came back during the re-opening of NYS. The line going into the market was fast despite how long it looked. Even their signage stated it moved fast. They offered a mask for those who didn’t have one, a hand washing station and sanitizer along the way. Though samples weren’t given out due to the pandemic, it was still a great place to get local foods and fresh produce. Quite possibly my mask wasn’t working well, but the herbs could still be picked up and smelled wonderful. Will have to come back again sometime soon.    Read moreWhat a joy to have this charming and high-quality market in our little village. People come from all over for this market- and for good reason. Stop at every booth! My favorites? Sausage on a stick, Pickles on a stick, Tacos, Tousey wine/ currant juice (see the bees), Aba's falafel is now a store in town (not in market any more) but that was great. There is a guy named Todd who makes amazing wood products (cutting boards). Lots of samples and happy people. Most of the time there is lovely music (occasionally there is a 'miss').
