Someone said it was solitary and isolated. Firstly, it's not isolated it was specifically developed to be a lovely, dedicated shopping area next to the East Wind, servicing its many guests as well as a place slightly off the beaten track for Wading River area and North Shore residents. Secondly, it's a great stop along the way for visitors and us residents to the wineries, farm stands, Greenport and Orient. I mean it's at the corner of Sound Ave and 25A! Talk about location.
Yes it's not very full yet, if you came here when it just opened it may have seemed quiet but just wait until it's fully tenanted and summer comes! I think there are a great selection of shops so far, that serve its location well. Tweets has Starbucks and fantastic ice cream (and is adorable). Birch & Main has truly wonderful candles and bath and body. I say a big bravo to those who planned this sweet little place, perfect...
Read moreAfter hearing this spot mentioned on news12 for years now and needing a Christmas gift, I decided to make the trip. I was pleasantly surprised how they designed this little area of shoppes. The builders managed to make a small village with beautiful brick work through our to take you down bendy and windy little paths. The Christmas decorations on the grounds are beautiful and fun for the kids. The Carousel with a structure around it is a must see for the family. This allows the carousel to be ridden all year and it's beautifully constructed. The shoppes are lovely though I would say there is not enough variety. There are maybe two or three sweet shoppers, two pizzerias and a few craft spots. The pickles and cheese shop is a different tou h. Overall a nice place to visit with family though the Italian restaurant requires a reservation...
Read moreI've waited a very long time to visit this shopping center. So, my Wife and I finally decided to go because it was a weekday and it wasn't crowded. In all, it was a nice place to visit, the Carousel was nice to look at (if I recall, it was $5/ride), the place was clean, but it didn't make us say:"We have to come back!" Whether a cause of Covid, inflation or just the fact that it's an "exclusive" little shopping center, I expected items to be priced at a premium. They were. So I'd say go and enjoy the nice little walk around. You may even find something unique to your tastes and make a purchase. For me, unfortunately, it's not worth a...
