The Well — Local services in Town of Saugerties

This is quite possibly the best thrift shop on Earth. It's tiny but packs an awesome selection inside at dirt cheap prices, like, bring a ten dollar bill for all your winter clothing needs. There's even a free section of stuff that's deemed intact but not worthy of selling, which helped me personally when I was homeless in Saugerties in 2014. I absolutely love this thrift store. It is volunteer run and everyone there is so sweet. The prices are very fair and I’ve found incredible things there. One of my favorite finds was a pair of fleece overalls… so cozy! Next to The Well, there’s a Free Store, which is an incredible concept. It’s stuff that doesn’t get sold from The Well.
