Mike's Custom Kuts — Local services in Town of Smithtown

I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. Poor customer service and terrible ethic upon two barbers working at the shop.

I walked into Mikes excited to get my hair cut around 2:15 they close at 3. All I was looking for was someone to give me a Zero "0" buzz all around. As soon as I walked in the two barbers who are just about to finish cutting their clients hair both look at me confused. The one barber working on the right says: "You have an appoinyment? Me and the other barber have appointments so we can't cut your hair."

I did not have an appointment but it's 2:15. Does the owner of this business like having customers being turned away? In addition having employees represent your brand and company in this way?

I was the only person in the shop other than the aforementioned barbers and their clients when I was about to take a seat in the waiting area.

I give them one star for the price. I went there for the first time because someone told me they are very good. I was expecting to look way better than before I let them cut my hair. It was a disaster and had the worst haircut ever! I can't even look at my face. I showed the barber a clear picture of the exact haircut I wanted. He could have said sorry I can't do it. But no he messed it up. It was a simple haircut nothing challenging for a professional barber. In addition the wall mirrors are in a certain way so me the client can't see my face while the barber is cutting my hair. I would have given him some directions about what I want if I was able to see my face while he was cutting my hair. I will never go there even tho they are nice. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A WALKI-IN. I started going to Mike's Custom Kuts when they were located on Portion road in Nesconset. I kept gong to them even when they moved a few miles down on Terry Road. I always liked the quality of the haircuts and the general friendliness. I stopped being a regular when one of the barbers went out on their own, but I still used them as a backup.. That brings me to today. I needed a haricut for an event I have this weekend. My barber was on vacation so I went to my trusty backup, Mike's Custom Kuts. I walked in and no one said "Hi", do you have an appt.. nothing. I sat for 10 minutes and still nothing.
