Kohl's — Local services in Town of Ulster

with this being my last stop out of multiple shops today running off little to no sleep i was a little zoned out in line… missed being called to the furthest register and i get being a little agitated at work but this boy was gesturing and using facial expressions as if having to say “ma’am” one time because i missed the first “next in line” ruined his whole day… honestly just wanted to get the whole interaction over with… he leads up with questions like “is there something wrong” like yes your blatant attitude sir … and clearly i don’t wish to engage with this person who has had a expression on his face that im an issue😭 as im paying and going to grab my receipt he got closer over the counter and said “you have a great REST of your weekend” whole interaction was very hostile … i get not liking your job trust im 19 and work in food service but jeez could of went about this whole interaction differently. i heard kohl’s was kind of falling off as I haven’t been here in a while and this may be the reason 😬 came in for a simple birthday dress and left with a bad taste...

What’s right: So the store is clean and decently organized.

Store was stocked with a good selection of sizes in the men’s department. (Exception being underwear I guess there are a lot of medium build guys in ulster county)

Quick cashiers. Patricia gets a gold star she saved me money and was super efficient. Professional and friendly. She certainly did not have her cell phone sitting next to her like most cashiers these days.

What’s wrong: Digital price displays do not work throughout the store.

I was never asked by a single employee if I needed any help. Despite passing five Instore.

Surprising that they sell some higher...

Poor experience. Found a pair of shoes marked 90 dollars discounted to 58 dollars. There was an additional 50% sale. When attempting to check out cashier would not honor ANY discount on the shoes. The manager then wouldnt offer any discount either claiming i had to pay full price for the shoes. Clearly an error by their staff they simple could have extend some discount and i would have bought the shoes. Very rude, poorly trained staff....would not buy shoes here. Discounting is all over the place and then half the time they dont want to honor their own discounts. Wasted my time. Will NOT be doing business with them...
