I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Mad City Chefs for our recent wedding. Ethan was incredibly easily to work with, super flexible and accommodating with the many changes we had to make due to COVID, and responded very quickly to any communication. The food he created for our wedding was incredible. I think every single guest has told us about how amazed they were with the appetizers and dinner. My Dad literally talked about how tasty the empanadas were for 10 minutes during the reception, ha! Ethan and his staff were incredibly professional and we felt very safe having them in my in-laws home to cook the meal, from a COVID perspective. Ethan was able to quickly change plans from a family-style dinner for 150 guests to an intimate backyard plated dinner for 17 guests with no difficulty. We even had issues with our original venue not allowing on-site food preparation, and Ethan was very resourceful in figuring out alternative options that would not compromise the quality of the food or experience of the guests. We have ordered Mad City Chef's two meals every week for the past year, and I have been super impressed with the food. I sometimes don't get around to cooking the meals for a week, but the ingredients are so fresh that even after a week, they look like they were just picked up from a farmers' market. The ease of creation for these dishes is also great.

My wife thinks I’m a great cook, but in reality, I am just following instructions from the real great cook, Ethan! The other thing we love about these meal kits is that there is very little waste. All of the sauces and a lot of other ingredients are delivered in glass jars that you return along with the cooler bag. No cardboard to recycle, no ice packs (ok sometimes an ice pack, but just return it with the jars), no spoiled ingredients! We worked with Ethan and Mad City Chefs to cater our outdoor wedding this summer and they left a definite wow factor on our guests and on us. I had countless guests come up to me during the wedding and over the next couple of days with nothing but impressed comments about the food.
