Good is good. Had one pork, beef and shrimp taco. Amazingly the beef was not too good but the shrimp was outstanding.
Wish the dip for the homemade ( nice and crispy) chips was more sauce like rather than junks of tomatoes and other vegetable’s, but that is just me.
Indoor and outdoor seating is a great option here for warmer weather.
I did come back and try the pulled pork burrito and it was stuffed with rice, beans and very little meat. It was huge, but the fillings was sparse in meat, a disappointment.
Overall they have a lot going for it with indoor and outdoor seating. The taco prices are outstanding. If I were to go back, I would order the shrimp taco again because it was the best out of everything I have had there. Add more meat to the burrito, I would definitely come back.
*new update 7/9/22 *
Downgraded to a two. Went in at 6pm on Friday and it was chaos in there. We were 5 th person to order and we did not get our food for 28 minutes! We saw others that came after us get their food and leave. I approached once after 20 minutes and the taller dark haired woman with extremely long fingernails pointed down to a slip and said this is you, you are second one???? With four other people arriving after us getting their food first? What they need to do:
Will return one more time and hopefully will be better experience and quality control better.
IF I had this type of flavor in my first meal here, I would definitely not be coming back! Hope they work on quality control and more...
Read moreIt is unreal how amazing their food is. Their tofu is the best I have ever tasted; it is incredible. I am vegetarian and when my family has tried a bite of my tofu burrito, they literally cannot tell the difference, like it's so similar to the taste of real meat I always panic that they gave me the wrong order haha. This place is so amazing for vegetarians and it would be easy to make most of their food vegan if you ask for no cheese. If you have never tried tofu and are considering it, get it here. It is so, so good and it's a phenomenal introduction to tofu since I know a lot of people are scared to try it. The texture and taste is pretty similar to chicken, it's just a little more bland and has a bit more of a bread flavor than a meat flavor if that makes sense. I love that they have a super inclusive menu with tons of options and variety; literally all their food is amazing. Their prices are also really reasonable and about the same as what you would find at Qdoba or Chipotle but the taste is like 1000 times better. My only complaint is that their website is kind of slow and doesn't work super well, but I always get the same thing now so it's not really an issue for me. I love stopping here any time I am in the Madison area, it's worth the 30 minute drive...
