I ordered a pizza through DoorDash tonight, as I do multiple times a month. Unfortunately, when the order arrived, half of the cheese was missing from my cheese pizza. I called the restaurant to let them know and asked if they could remake it—I was even willing to drive the 30 minutes to pick it up myself. It was also really cold when it got here..m
The female manager I spoke with told me I would need to go through DoorDash for a refund, and if I wanted a new pizza, I’d have to pay for it again. I mentioned that I’d had an issue once before and the restaurant had kindly remade the order. She then made a comment along the lines of, “Yeah, Matt said you’ve called before,” which felt like an insinuation that I frequently complain—something that is absolutely not true.
When I asked her to clarify what she meant, and explained that I had one problem years ago and they remade the pizza and I picked it up and she responded with, “That’s not what I’m saying.” ok...what was she saying then? I would have brought the messed up pizza with me. I wasnt trying to get free food, but thats how she made me feel. Like I was trying to scam them out of a pizza which is absolutely ridiculous. I literally order multiple times a month. The interaction felt dismissive and she was extremely rude. My pizza was messed up, and she didn’t even offer an apology. The tone and attitude she had were completely unnecessary. If she had been nice and apologetic—even if I still had to go through DoorDash and they couldnt remake the pizza—I wouldn’t be upset. It’s not the "policy" that bothers me; it’s entirely her attitude that turned the whole situation horrible. She literally made me feel like I'm a horrible person for complaining about my messsd up pizza. This interaction completely soured the five-plus years of consistently good experiences I’ve had with this location.
(Deleted my previous 5 star review I made back in 2021 to make this new updated 1 star review. Also wish I would have told my BF to wait to eat the cheeseless pizza slices before I got pictures but i wasn't even sure I was going to leave a new review so I only have one picture showing the missing cheese. Once she told me they weren't going to remake it, I told him to eat it cause I'm not paying for...
Read moreStopped in for a mid afternoon lunch on 11/29 @ 2:54pm. The web site said they were open as well as the posted hours. A man walked in ahead of us right behind him my wife and myself. No one was at the front desk? We noticed 2 people in the back room to the left just beyond the buffet. One appeared to be on break eating and the other was standing in the door way of the room talking. That person looked at the 3 of us several times but made no attempt to greet or try to help us. The man ahead of us walked around the buffet and came back to inform us there was a fully stocked salad bar and only chicken on the buffet. We could see theree were no pizza's out.We looked at each other as we were all confused and we walked out never haveing anyone ask if they could help. 1) I thought they were open for business. But worst of all is #2) Why would someone see customers walk in,stare at them, then not greet them or ask if they can help us. Pizza ranch not only lost out on the $35 of business that day. But the lost one of their few customer that leave a tip on the table for the help. As well as 2 customers furture purchases. Its reassuring to know they have enough cusomers so that they can afford to loose some. When will employees realize that customers are the ones who allow them to receive a paycheck. What a disappointing experience. I hope the owners can find help that cares about doing the best job they can.I know it's difficult but there are better people than the one who just stared at your customers and made a decision not to help them for what ever reason. I'm guessing it's something like it's not my job or I was on break. In my eyes they said I not care and the world owes me something.Pizza Ranch is just lucky I'm...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst meal we have had in some time. Our son chose Pizza Ranch as his birthday dinner tonight. We got there at about 4 pm and there were a couple tables there already. There were 5 of us and our kids are all over 10 so we paid adult meal prices. We went up to the buffett to find the soup broth was all dehydrated and what was left of the noodles were burning. The lettuce tray was filled with brown lettuce and what you could pick out was oddly sweet tasting. The hello had a film on it so bad my 13 year old nearly lost what she had already ate when she tried it. There was no fresh pizzas - the pickles on the bacon cheeseburger pizza looked like dehydrated cucumbers, the crust on most of the pizzas was hard and the pepperoni looked dried out. The hot food had chicken that was decent - that is about the only good thing we had. The noodles were sitting in oil and the ones not touching the oil were so dried out it looked like they forgot to boil them. The loaded mashed potatoes were on the verge of dehydration as well. The red sauce had sat there so long it had a thick film on it as did the gravy. We were there about an hour and many more people came - probably 10 - 15. As we were leaving they finally brought out fresh potatoes and chicken but that was it. About 5 mins before leaving, a waitress finally came to our table for the first time to clear our plates stacked in front of us. We have never had such an awful meal at a PR but we will NOT be back anytime soon. Nearly $100 for $5 worth of decent food. What a bummer on my...
