I would give zero stars if I could. I apparently interrupted gossip at the counter when I walked in for my scheduled drop off. I was greeted extremely rudely, as if I was inconveniencing them by being there at my scheduled time. I was informed at my appointment that the policy had changed between Tuesday and today and they are not taking any bags for drop off. Staring at the shoulder high stack of blue bins behind the counter I asked if there is nothing they will do since I drove 45 minutes to my appointment. I was told no by an employee who couldn’t even keep her mask on her face properly, while the initial extremely rude employee rolled her eyes. I typically make the drive out to this location since the normal staff is very helpful. We shopped here at least once every two weeks pre-COVID. We will not be returning.
Edit to add: No recommendation was given to obtain a bin from a nearby store. I was told since I had no bin at the moment nothing would be assessed that day, period. I was essentially ushered out of the store. CDC also recommends face coverings in public places. Senior staff speaking directly to my face had their mask pulled down underneath their chin. Neither nose or mouth were covered. Interesting that certain CDC standards are enforced...
Read moreI have never felt more uncomfortable or ignored in a store waiting to cash out and not even acknowledged by 4 employees. I was patiently waiting to be cashed out and none of the 4 cashiers wanted to step up and they even looked up and saw me standing in line, they didn't care kept folding clothes and inputting stuff into the computer. I felt so awkward standing in line and them just continuing to ignore me. I almost left my cart full of clothes. They weren't even that busy as I was the only one in line. I get it, you have alot of stock but it isnt right to ignore customers but i guess it take 4 ladies to input clothes into the system when you have customers waiting and none could be bothered to cash someone out, eventually I was and I left as fast as possible. Idk what their deal was but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had in a Once upon a child store, worst customer service by all 4, if i were you I'd go to a different one. No wonder the store was empty they make you feel like you are a burden to be in that store, and they cant be bothered by...
Read moreI have attempted to sell back clothes and toys four different times with no success. There has ALWAYS been an excuse on their end as to why they don’t even want to look at what I’m offering to sell. Today was the last time. I brought in a tote of like-new toys and 1 ride-on Fisher Price toy. Everything is in Like New condition and the 2 girls there gave me the run-around about why they wouldn’t even look at the products. “The tote is too big” - but they would look at 2 smaller totes that equal the same size tote I had (which they were in the process of doing for someone else). There was “only 2 of them on staff”, yet they had just finished looking at someone else’s stuff and someone was in front of me who dropped off her stuff as well (more than I had). I specifically called the day before to see what I needed to do to bring in my stuff to sell back and did everything they asked. The staff there are so lazy and don’t appear to want to work. It’s going to be much easier to just pass on toys and clothes to people in need or to a swap...
