Straight Fire 🔥🔥🔥 This gem was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. When we first got here, we weren't sure whether we should stay or just take it home. The dining room was very unassuming, but on the back wall was a simple design of their logo; Thai Delish. It was.... And we are so glad we stayed. While the dining room was simply sterile, it was warm and comfortable; or maybe it was our waiters enthusiasm and smile. In any event, this simple Thai establishment should be what every Thai enthusiast should dream of. The Tom Kha Kai was sweet, spicy, and sour. With onions and perfectly tender chicken, the coconut milk created one of the warmest soups I've ever tasted. The Stones were dead wrong...you can get satisfaction. The Massaman Curry was also perfection. The potatoes brought me back to my childhood in a unique way I've never experienced. Especially since my childhood was 10000 miles from Thailand, and I'm as far from Asian as Heinz 57. The carrots were meaty and perfectly tender without being overcooked in a spicy coconut broth. I only wish the Jasmine rice had a more delicate flavor, I missed that floral note that makes Jasmine Rice so desirable The Drunken noodles at a spice level 3 were just right for a 7* night in Rochester. Anthony Bourdain taught me there is "nothing more comforting than a spicy bowl of noodles;" Thai Delish embodied that statement. The basil was strong but not over powering; the peppers, crisp but soft; and the tofu (yes I wanted tofu) was firm and absorbed all of the powerful flavor from the spicy sauce. For spending more than $25 we were surprised with a small plate of "popcorn" chicken. While free food at a restaurant in 2025 is surprising enough, the small fried chicken bites that stay crispy from beginning to end and without greasy fingers were a great treat. Our server was friendly and personable, always attentive and quick with the extra water when we were thirsty. We didn't wait too long, nor was the food piling up while our gullets tried to keep up with the kitchen. He even asked if we had dietary restrictions; thankfully we don't, because I wouldn't change a thing about this place. Thai Delish should be on everyone's mind. It's simple. The food is sexy; or maybe it was my date ....I dunno. But I do know Rochester has a Thai restaurant that rivals any I've been to across the country. Thai Delish is...
Read moreHaving dined in numerous places across the globe over my 40+ years, I can confidently say that this was the best meal I’ve had in my 16 years living in the USA. Never before have I felt so compelled to leave a review for a restaurant. If you're within a 50-mile radius, it’s absolutely worth the trip.
Despite its smaller size, the restaurant was impeccably clean—walls, floors, and tables spotless.
The plate ware and silverware were professionally done, with a nice, hefty feel and an appealing look.
The manager and host were incredibly welcoming, spending time with my wife and me from the moment we walked in until we left. They were both friendly and polite, checking in on us just the right amount and making recommendations based on our conversation.
The menu strikes the perfect balance—small enough to ensure everything is prepared fresh, yet large enough to offer a good variety of choices.
Ingredients used were authentic and fresh, with no attempt to cut corners for profit. The meals were crafted with the intent to replicate the flavors of "home," resulting in a quality that was a perfect 10/10.
My wife and I ordered the starter sampler and an entree each, with the total cost around $50. Given the current economic climate, this was extremely reasonable for a lunch for two, but considering the other factors mentioned, it felt like an absolute steal.
The experience was elevated by thoughtful details. We visited on St. Valentine's Day, and the vegetables in our dishes were cut into heart shapes. The Jasmine rice served with my entree was also plated heart-shaped. It's the small things like this that really show how much care and effort and thought goes into making their customers have the best experience possible.
I cannot recommend Thai Delish Kitchen more. It was beyond fantastic, and I can’t...
Read moreToday, I visited Thai Delish Kitchen, a fairly new Thai restaurant in the Victor area, conveniently located across from Eastview Mall.
The restaurant offers ample parking and a welcoming ambiance, with plenty of tables to accommodate groups of up to 25 people.
The menu is diverse, featuring vegetarian, meat, and fish options. We had Panang Curry with white rice, Chicken Pad Thai, and vegetable spring rolls - came with an unbelievably delicious Thai chili dipping sauce.
Everything was delicious, arriving quickly and packed with flavor and spice. We also enjoyed the Thai iced tea, which was delightful. Both dishes were the right mix of spices and flavor. I can’t wait to come back here.
The service was extremely friendly and responsive, making it an all-around Five-Star experience.
I highly recommend Thai Delish for a wonderful dining experience! If you stop by, please tell the owner, Natapa I sent you !
