Still closed as of 01/27/2025. Been closed since the first week of January. Kind of a damper given it's the closet convenient store to the area that has most groceries items that are affordable. I love shopping at yhill. But they don't always have what I need and the prices I sometimes can't swing when I need it. Called DG customer service to see if they were open last week and was told the store was open according to their system. They took my phone call as a complaint that no one at the actual store answered the phone. Of course no one answered. It's shut down for no heat. When I explained that to DG customer service, they explained that it was "unacceptable" that no one answered the phone at the store when I called them first. I'm like. That's not why I'm calling. I'm just calling to see if the store is actually open or not. Which again. Customer service said it was according to their system. But the store was not in fact open still due to no heat. And with how cold temps have been. I hope no one is in the store with how the temps have been lately. Hoping they open...
Read moreShelves are never stocked, their shipments/bins blocked most of the shelves, to include the whole back wall. They put dog toys as a way for customers to get their attention when they are not at register though, they never seem to be focused on actually stocking the shelves. They turn off store lights and lock door before it is 9 pm and while customers are in the store. It’s chaotic, dysfunctional and extremely inconvenient to any customer who actually needs something of use for it’s either never available, or stuck in the shipping boxes not on the shelves they belong or blocking the shelves of what they do have. Read moreWhoever your female cashier was on 9/21 at around 345 needs to be fired or put on stocking duty at least(which needs help). Her frustration with normal customers is outright blatant. The customer wanted to use their own reusable bags but had to go out to the car and get them (which didn't end up taking extra time). The cashier made multiple remarks about them holding up the line even as she continued to ring the items up, so no time wasted. During those remarks, she would look back at me and others with a little smirk on her face and shake her head.
If this area had another store(not gas station) employees like her would lose you business.
