Sunset Grill — Restaurant in Town of Vienna

Walked in with my partner, looking to hang and have some drinks and spend the cash burning a hole in my pocket, only to find a line of about 12 people, children included (stroller aged to about 8, about 5 kids), ordering food from the bar. We sat at the bar and waited, ungreeted, for about 5 minutes, looking at the drinks offered and watching the kids running around. The bartender seemed overwhelmed, so we were patient. Then a man came out of the kitchen to help the poor bartender at last...... or so we thought. Still sitting there, still haven't even been said hello to, the man came out, looked at us, looked at what was going on, mumbled something, poured himself a shot, threw it back, and went back into the kitchen. .... We left.

It should be noted that this was our first time here. If this is the first impression you give people, it's not a good one- just an FYI. And please tell the guy from the kitchen- next time when you see two people sitting at the bar in that kind of chaos, be a friend and pour 2 more shots besides your own, and then hand them...

The Sunset Grill has been one of my favorites in Sylvan Beach for years. This visit included karaoke with Big Red and was great! My only complaint is the female bartender was very inattentive to the customers repeatedly. At least, myself and a few others there. Otherwise, I highly recommend going and enjoying live bands and karaoke whenever you...

Awesome bar with chill locals and cheap drinks. Dylan the owner is a very cool guy! We were able to grab a table and watch the ND game with custom Irish glasses thanks to kevin a huge ND patron.
