We found the entire staff to be friendly and made us feel at home, including the owner and his wife. We have been there twice. The flavors are superb. But the value is just not there. We have had the Jerked Chicken and the Curry Chicken. In both instances, there were more bones than meat. We brought another couple with us the second time and their meals were the same, all bones. I spent the entire time picking small pieces of meat off bones or spitting little pieces of bone out onto my plate. When I was done, I had a pile of bones on my dish that would have filled a cup, and I was still hungry. My wife's comment was that there were more bones than meat. She is not a big eater and always brings at least half her meal home. Not here. She was still hungry. The saving grace was the mac & cheese, which was delicious and a generous portion. The peas and rice were also very good. But they are sides, not entrees.
We want this place to succeed. But my guess is people will be turned off by a plate of bones with hardly any meat and will not return. You usually only get one strike in the restaurant business. We gave it two tries and both were the same. We will wait to see if things change before we go back,...

A little bit of wait on the food but we don’t mind because it was authentic and seasoned well. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. The Mac and cheese was 🔥 fire the vibe the music was everything. Will definitely be back for a date night or a chill and fun lunch with friends. The DJ was playing all the jams. The grill was smelling so good reminded me of NYC back in the day. The only bad thing is I like my plantain soft and more cooked. Other than that...

We walked over from Sunset Cottages, it was 12:30pm, 92 degrees, slightly breezy and we were thirsty!!! Big sign out front said open at 11- perfect!!! Tried to get in...... locked up tighter than Alcatraz. Extremely disappointed as this seems to be the trend for a lot of establishments on the strip. As we were grading back about 30 minutes later, a truck pulled in, 4 people got out and started opening the place up. Just seems like it's poorly managed, and I didn't even step foot into the place....
