I've been meaning to write a review for this store for a while now, but recent less than positive experiences at other locations have made me feel like it's even more necessary. I'm an Interior Designer/Decorator and I frequent Homegoods/TJ Maxx/ Marshalls stores all over the area. This is one of my favorite places to shop for many reasons, but I think the most notable is the people who work here. They function like a little family and you feel it right when you walk in the door. They're all so helpful and always have smiling faces which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I specifically see Marie and Karan just about every time I go in. They're quick to help me with whatever I need, ask me about what I'm working on, etc. I always leave there feeling so happy even when my days are often busy and stressful. I can't say enough good about this location, specifically the two people I mentioned above, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. I could easily shop elsewhere but I choose to come here because of them and the...
Read moreI Bought some items from this store for my new house. I wasn’t sure if one of the chair I bought was going to look nice so I asked the manager, Karen, if I could return it if I didn’t like it and he said yes. (The tag was missing from the chair when I bought it). Went back to the store few days later to return it but they said I would need the tag on it and the receipt only won’t work. I told them that I spoke to Karen and he said it would be fine but they said that’s the policy. This women was not rude or anything, she said ‘sorry wish I could help but I can’t do anything for you’. So I left it alone. On my way back home, I called another home goods location and asked them if it was possible to return an item without its tag but have the receipt and they said yes. I went in that store and was able to return without any question. So I’m really confused about the policy. Do each location have their own policy? Or was this lady making a fool out of me? Lesson learned - don’t buy anything from this store if you are not sure...
Read moreMiddletown Homegoods is fantastic. Located in the middle of Orange County, NY, you can be sure to find your home decor needs at an affordable price every visit. This Homegoods keeps a steady supply of lamps, bedding and picture frames, as well as candles, pillows and towels that change with the seasons. There is a pretty good section for kitchen supplies including glassware, bowls and plates, and some kitchen tools, pots, pans and knife sets. A relaxing stroll through the store and you'll find unique furniture and artwork, as well as small decor items. I have found unique vases and home decor items that I haven't seen elsewhere at such a deal of a price. There is a pet section which I don't usually look through. Overall, you're sure to always leave with items that match your style at a great price! Highly recommend...
