My first visit to this establishment. We were seated and tended to fairly quickly. It's a very large place with nice motif. The music was way too loud and not the type of music you would expect to hear in a restaurant. This was more the level and style of a night club. If you want to only attract a younger, less financially secure clientele, than you need to change that scene. I also noticed a number of waitresses with nothing to do except play with their hair and run their fingers through it. Not something you want to do on the sales floor in an eatery. Are you paying attention management? I started with clam chowder soup, which was pretty good. My main meal was served in an inflated plastic bag. I had to ask what this was as I have never had a meal served in that fashion. Turns out you dump it on the very large shallow plate. Some assembly required, I guess. I had scallops , which were steamed well. I asked for a mild sauce, but it was quite spicey. I cant imagine what the spicey seasoning must be like. Hush puppies were pretty good as was the shrimp basket. The take away: not sure I will return as the atmosphere left quite a bit to be desired; and the food is so-so. I think management needs to be changed to better serve older paying clientele (I am 60) and not just cater to the 20 year olds who are working there. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

So this was my first visit, and I had Peyton as my server. She has like the sweetest voice, but, also was really helpful in tying my bib after it fell off(So thankful I asked and she did because that thing got messier than i thought it would🤣), while my hands were sauced fingertip to wrist. She was patient as I tried to figure out what to order, and answered a few questions, or admitted she didn't know and went to ask(Honesty is always good). I'm not quite sure I ever figured out exactly how to use the red claw tool, but it was more durable and handy once I started using it. Food did come out wrong initially in 2 ways, we did only catch the 1 though. I had ordered crab legs and they were not on the plate initially. Was a quick fix thankfully. Later on we realized I never got the rice I ordered, and Peyton was quick to get it removed. I think the food could've been sauced a bit better, but beyond that it was amazing, and messy and well worth the trip for the food alone, but Peyton was definitely icing on the cake. Decorations were nice and I like the interactive table with the word searches and such, wasn't much of a fan of the music though. Definitely wasn't looking to spend 200$ on food for myself, but its also been a while since Ive gotten to eat like that. SOOO looking forward to visiting again.

My husband is from New Orleans. So he wanted to try this place. Mind you, we've never had great experiences at restaurants in New York or the surrounding area that claim to serve "New Orleans style" or "Cajun" food. I ordered a Seafood Tower because treat yo' self. My husband ordered a catfish po' boy. My Seafood Tower consisted of some snow crab legs, some shrimp, a lobster tail, and a half a dozen oysters. I LOVE oysters! I have never had worse oysters in my life. Oysters are supposed to taste like the ocean. It literally tasted like they washed the shucked oysters. Oysters from a can probably would have been preferable to these absolutely flavorless frozen oysters. The rest of the shellfish was decent. Nothing outstanding. And when I asked for butter, I got a plastic cup filled to the freaking meniscus. So, of course I managed to spill some on myself. The po' boy did not impress my husband. Bland and flavorless. Cajun fries means lots of Old Bay. Just completely underwhelming. We will not be making a return visit. The waitress was perfectly nice and did a good job. No complaints there. My husband said he would like to see people who eat here try real Cajun seafood so they can see the difference.

Completely disorganized and hectic environment the noise level through the roof accompanied by a live singer she was nice but when you can’t hear the person sitting next to you it is obnoxious at best. We ordered 3 items 40+$ *crab and shrimp boil *Mozzarella sticks 7.99 *kids meal mozzarella sticks 6.99

Let’s start with the boil the boil was good it lacked the amount of potatoes and corn said on the menu itself but it was ok however I did not have any utensils to crack open the crab and could not reach a waitress until I compl half my meal and that was because I got up and looked for one

The mozzarella sticks are the exact same item I go to Sam’s club to purchase a whole box of them for less than 30 dollars but I paid 6.99 for 7

Now here’s the real issue Not only did our entree come out first which is a big no no but the kids meal did not even arrive until we spoke to the manager while the waitresses were relaxing at the side of the restaurant with their backs turned to the guests Zero attentiveness Second worst issue is that we were asked two separate times two items of food was ours that’s screams zero organization and not only was one item placed on our table that wasn’t ours but it WAS TAKEN from our table and then GIVEN to its original table a few feet away. The manager “graciously” explained that the servers are new this is a new restaurant. Now I can understand that you’re a new business but there is no excuse for bad service it is not your guests fault that your staff is not trained to check the table for missing utensils or if you’re staff dosent know what table food belongs to or does not simply ask if anything is needed at the table after receiving the food. I work in the restaurant industry so I understand how busy and hellish it can be but that never is an excuse for bad service and ok food (mid) especially for the price that we paid (they also did not let me use my military discount as they already put their 12 dollar “accommodation “ ) they’re “accommodation” was 12 dollars off a 60 dollar order. Horrible first impression. Go to the juicy crab you’ll get more bang for your buck and...

The food was good, but that's where the good stops... Quite the process to get there. The hostess was nice at the door and our initial server was nice at the introduction. However, we felt very rushed to get our order put in as soon as we sat down because she apparently had another table that was much larger than just the 4 of us.

The server did tell us that she would be eith that other party but that her coworker would be taking care of is. Such coworker never showed up. We got no silverware, no crab utensils, no plates, no napkins, no bibs until well after our meals arrived and a second server realized we kept asking different people for things we were already supposed to have.

When the food started to come in the plates just kept stacking up. No one ever came to take our chip bowl, no one took the plates that our appetizers were on or any plate until we got up to leave.

The manager passed by our table about 3 times and he did try to make sure at first that we got help. But later, when we were trying to get someone's attention again, to get to go boxes he passed nearby a couple of times and almost seemed purposely avoided our table even though we were looking around to get someone's attention. In the same way, about 6 other servers passed us by and no one offered to help.

Eventually a server from the other side of the restaurant took our table over and tried her best. When the meal was over we got our bill and just sat there... There were errors to the bill where we were charged for an extra drink... Eventually they adjusted the bill and discounted it $10, about 10%, for the "inconvenience"... Maybe this was an isolated situation, maybe not. However, this was our experience and probably our...

Long review but take the time to read. We were on an hour and a half wait to go in (which we were fine with since it was fathers day). My wife went in who is 8 months pregnant to check on the time 50 minutes into our wait to get a better idea of when we'd be called since we had our 1 and a half year old with us. She was given an attitude by who we later found out was the owner, Jamal. He stated that he had been calling us minutes prior even though it was 40 minutes earlier then our original given time. He was rude and gave her an attitude about it. So we were then seated and the hostess apologized stating he had been rude to several other patrons and his staff. Once seated he came over and continued go be rude to us, and harass us. When we asked for the manager he laughed at us and I quote "well I'm Jamal and I am the proprietor. I own it so if you want to make a.complaint then I guess you can go ahead but good luck". I wanted to get up and leave right then and there but we had already waited and our little guy was starving. It then took 25 minutes for a server to come to our table. Once we finally flagged one down, she was incredible and made the experience tolerable.to some degree. Her name was Kim. The food, to no fault of Kim's, took very long to come out. But we will not be going back any time soon with the way Jamal treats his customers. The fact that he came back to reignite the argument and antagonize us about being the owner is just disgusting. I hope corporate sees this and does something about this. Father's day...
