I use to order their avocado salad a lot when I dined in, it was my favorite thing to order in the whole wide world. I came tonight and ordered two avocado salads to go, not very hard to make. First of all the portion in the to go versus dining in are totally separate, which is very disappointing because you are paying the same amount. I usually would get a good plate full of salad and a decent portion of sliced avocado. But when I got my to go order I was kind of disappointed and so was my husband. You get a couple of lettuce leaves, maybe a few sliced carrots and avocado on top covering it. Second thing is I found 3 seperate hair strands in the ginger dressing they served, it was very disgusting and gross. I came back immediately and asked for the manager on duty. The manager didn't seem so sorry even though he apologized, he couldn't keep his words together and kept mumbling. He remade the salad and I asked him who prepped it and he said it was usually the chefs at the sushi bar area. There was female hairs in it obviously, and then he said that sometimes the hosts get stuff ready for to go orders and maybe one of their hairs fell into my dressing when I poured it on my salad. I told him how disgusting it is, and that I use to be a host for a restaurant and maybe they should evaluate how their host's work uniform when it came to their hair. I always wore mine in a bun and I have thick curly hair so I did understand how to be sanitary. He just kept saying sorry and I asked him to check that dressing and he said it would be rare for something like that to happen agian , when I believe it shouldn't happen at all. Another thing I would like to add is that this restaraunt is an embarrassment, it's not an authentic japanese steak house it's ran and owned by chinese that do not understand how to keep business up. They hire financial advisors and people to do most of the work for them. If people do understand if you we're to really go to a Japanese steak house ran and own by Japanese people that your service and quality of food will go off the charts. I am just saying that so people don't get the wrong idea about how Japanese restaurants are ran. So if people want real authentic asian food you would find it more in the New...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite place until my last visit. Been going there for many years. Waitress was great. We had 17 people in our party, and both hibachis at our setting. It was a train wreck. When we got there we was waiting for 2 people, now we was going to have the entire setting at the hibachi so why not seat the party? Instead they have all of us standing in the walkway waiting. While the seats are sitting there with plates in front of them, and no people. Dumb on their part, we could have been ordering drinks while we was waiting. cooks ended up losing the raw eggs 🥚 our side the cook went to toss it and it flew at both my granddaughters hit one bounced off her and hit my other one. On the other side he was trying to do tricks and lost 2 eggs that went flying tward the adults on that side. They never cleaned it up, all the eggs was still on the floor when we left. The plates all had to be sent back because there was dried food on all of them. When we told the guy his reply was see the rice is so sood it don't want to let go of the plates. The chef gave my granddaughter her aunts noodles, and instead of him correcting it he just went about his business she had no rice or noodles. so we had to figure out something for her. Because at 8 years old kids just eat they don't ask questions. She thought it came with her meal, and no her aunt isnt an adult shes 4 years older. The yum yum sauce and the salad dressing had bits of cooked rice in it. And to top it off my daughter in law found a loooong hair in Her food. With all this it turned our stomachs and we won't...
Read moreWe came from out of town with family who raved about this place. First thing I noticed when walking in was 2 girls at the host stand texting leaning over the host stand. I then looked around..the carpet was super dirty with leaves and other things. I went into the women's bathroom and it was okay but my husband said the men's was gross. He even told the hostesses that it needed some attention. Second, we had 5 adults and 1 kid. They tried to seat us cramped into a table with a high chair inbetween another table. I'm not sure how that was going to work in their eyes. So we were put on a list and they would text us when a booth was ready. Third, we order. A friend said absolutely NO SEEDS on any of the sushi rolls. Our server wrote it down and repeated our orders and requests. We get the food and halfway through our meals we noticed there were seeds in our friends sushi! She left her glasses at home and didn't noticed, but one of us did. She could get really sick from those seeds! Besides that being a serious issue my husband's drink was terrible! We asked for the manager/owner Andy Chen who thanked us for our "comment". And offered our friend a $30 gift certificate but did not comp a thing. Our friend could have a severe reaction to those seeds..not a care in the world from him. AT ALL! He basically blamed his chef. For an,owner you would think he would do anything to make the situation right! Needless to say we will never go back again ESPECIALLY after I read other reviews about mice and roaches. NO THANK YOU! And note to the owner: A HAPPY CUSTOMER IS A REPEAT...
